I haven't seen goal 1000 around lately. We'd better all keep a sharp eye out...he's probably lurking somewhere waiting for us to get close to THE number and then...bam...swoop in for the kill!
I'm gonna lurk here in the shadows with my stale purple peeps...just let me at him!!! 'tis a shame to waste any of these peeps..but it is a worthy cause.

| THE International Ecumenical Conference
A very large conference of "The" followers was held in a small Armenian village in America. All the most esteemed and learned "The" scholars gathered to make a decision on the one question rocking the world of "The" followers.
Is "The" actually a triune deity? It has been a most spirited debate and a narrow victory for the Trinity. The major argument was that "T", "H", "E" are all seperate distinct individuals of the one "The".
The vote was 18 fer and 17 agin.
So there you have it folks..."The" is actually 3 individual parts that make up the one. Next years conference will decide exactly what those three distinct parts encompass.

THE conference agreed that the T was easy to pronounce as was the E. There was great discord with H. About 60% pronounced it "Aitch", 25% said that it was "Haitch", 10% said it was "Ate" and of course there were the remaining rebels from San Diego that thought the H was silent.

'xcuse me . . . I wouldn't be caught dead wasting the time necessary to wade through this entire thread . . . just caught the last page, but, oh most erudite S'Diego, TH is not a DIPhthong. The twisting vowel in "boy" (boeee) would be an example of a DIPhthong. Waydale includes two diphthongs (Waeeeedayal) or TWieee . . . get it?
