We've been here over eighteen hours now. The purple car has been sighted... mostly just going in circles. The occupants of the vehicle are reportedly armed with peeps and dangerous only to themselves. They seem a little out of control.
We would have left a long time ago but some lady came by and gave us clean clothes and food... (these little peanut butter bars are really good - where did she learn to make these?) and she said someone else would be dropping off shaving kits soon.
I guess we'll stick around and report the news about the purple car.

We are receiving reports that the alleged meeting place of the allegedly favorite restaurant of THE is located somewhere on the California coastline.
The alleged occupants of the alleged PURPLE WAGON seem to be having difficulty locating the damn place.
("Hey NumberOne! Can we get a photographer up on that mountain? We need to find out what's going on! And what's this I hear about a little maroon-colored vintage number? Oh... that was a vision?????? Well dammit I want pictures! Get a camera man up there now!")

Dad-gum it THE, look at all those peeps gathering at the foot of THE mountain of Odd.
I came here to my barren 12500+ feet high cave to get away from the things of the world so I could the more easily put them off and stay my mind on THE!
All I have here is my Sabretooth skin garments, some straw to sleep on, 250 cans of Spam, and my computer. (With of course my Red Baron III, world war one combat aviation sim.)
Now these folks will be crawling all over THE mountain, wanting to use my bathroom and stealing my Spam.
And what is all this about that old purple Volvo 444? I can see a purple Porsche, Plymouth or even a Pinto. I also like purple people eaters, but even the most back-fiord Swede wouldn't want a purple Volvo. Maroon and magenta don't work either. Maybe if you tried Violet.....
Hmmmmm....
Newsflash; "The deeply Violet Volvo filled with possibly violent peeps careened madly up the mountain in pursuit of Pawtuckets perpetual Greasey spoon cafe!" ........
Uuummmmm.......
Naw, they won't buy it.

I am coming to you live from the mountain of THE, where the purple car has been spotted. At this time the only thing we can hear from the vehicle is a woman's voice.
She is shouting something... one moment... yes I can hear it now! She is yelling quite loudly, "We're lost! We're lost! I've been telling you for half and hour we're lost!"
There is some sort of apparition in the sky. It seems to be pointing in the direction from which the car came.
Now I can hear the man's voice... can't make out what he is saying... sounds like a lot of mumbling and a few peeps but... hold on... it's the woman again! She's shouting back at him... saying, "It is NOT demasculating to read a map!"
The apparition appears to be looking down into the car now... it doesn't seem happy. There are little brightly colored marshmallow pieces flying out through the windows now... oh I've never seen anything like this! The road looks like a war zone... there are yellow, pink, and purple casualties everywhere. The man is hanging his head out the window now... he seems desperate!
And now the woman is screaming even more loudly, "What?! Do you think THE himself will magically appear out of nowhere and point us in the right direction?! I told you to ask that park ranger for directions... but did you listen to me? Nooooooooooo!"
This doesn't look good folks.
But wait... the man is finally shouting back at her... he's saying... he's saying... "Why ask a park ranger, when I can look to THE?!!!"

Hello citizens of THE.....Well it certainly is exciting tonight........news crews are combing the mountain of THE looking for the purple car but only finding peeps. Something big is brewing....Speaking of brews, I just got back from a pleasant stay in Palm Springs with Betty Ford.
Anyway, we got cut off the other night with the dramatic THE crisis. So tonight, I am going to recap a few of the highlights.

By the way, (nyuk, nyuk, nyuk!)What's going on here, some sort of bait and switch? That car is neither purple or a Volvo. THE, never one to be fooled, obviously is pointing for them to go back where they came from.
Also, what is up with Krysilis, is she suffering from sympathy peeps for Paw? ( After pledging her undying love for me?)

Dear Mr. Propheta,
I'm a reporter not a car salesman.
No one ever said the car was a Volvo. It is however purple. A purple Saturn to be exact (actually it's violet but Saturn doesn't know that).
And I did not report that the peeps were hurled. They were thrown out the window. Are you always so melodramatic?
Break time is over. The car has left the scene. I have to get back to work.
