Welcome to Grease Spot and I hope you enjoy looking around here.

I am a little curious about you saying you operate all nine all the time. Can you elaborate on that?

And do look around Grease Spot there's a lot of stuff here that may be of interest to you. Like vp's plagiarism. I know you said vp paved the way but there's another thing that's important to consider -

vp lied about his academic knowledge of biblical Greek and fabricated his experiences with the Holy Spirit (there's lots of threads on Grease Spot that get into this btw) bottom line is - vp was not just a flagrant plagiarist - he was an incompetent teacher; his academic shortcomings become evident when even someone with a basic working knowledge of biblical Greek sees how vp parsed a passage in his book "Receiving the Holy Spirit Today".

For someone like vp who taught "integrity and accuracy" were so important when it comes to the Bible - I find it extremely odd there was so little of either in all he said and done.

When it's said someone "paved the way" it usually means they made the journey easier for others to follow using their pathway. If you care to look a little deeper on Grease Spot you'll also find many accounts of the followers of vp who were on a long and arduous journey in frustration and disappointment. I don't think most folks appreciate someone "paving the way" to that!

Has anyone learned about holy spirit from Stiles or Bullinger? VP was the one who taught it to me.

I care more about the baby than how I got it. If VP had photocopied the books and wrote his name over the author's name, it's still the truth, and I operate all nine all the time. Will it somehow be "invalid" because VP copied it? And let's face it folks, VP went beyond either of these two men of God. They paved the way for VP, built the bridge, and VP paved the way for us.

Hi, rrobs!

You forgot to put that little "/s" after your post.

(Happy to help however I can.)

edit: Oh, if only there was some way to check all that stuff Wierwille taught us.

Perhaps rrob is the infrequent wayfer who thinks he can reason some sense into the reprobates at GSC... Hey rrob, nice try but you're spinning your wheels.

I was captain on Ambassador One. As far as spinning my wheels,

Isa 55:11,

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

I just speak it. Whoever wants to believe will. That's not up to me.

All nine manifestations in 1 Cor 12. Do you know what I mean, or is this something new you might like to know about?

For the record:

I was one of the first to leave the Way, within a couple of weeks of the Passing of the Patriarch paper I left staff. I was a captain on Ambassador One. I've not returned to the Way since. Still, had better vibes there than here at GSC. I've never experienced so much acrimony and bitterness. At least VP taught me to keep my eyes on the word and not on people. Whatever you condemn VP for, you are condemning yourselves, unless Romans 2:1 is wrong.

I don't know if anybody at GSC knows me personally. I don't think so, but I've never been put down as much as here. Not that I care one bit. My sufficiency is of God, not VP and certainly not of GSC. That is good advice for anybody here.

On this point, you and I are in disagreement. I never raped anyone or looted vast amounts of other men's work, claiming God had given them to me by revelation, claiming it was material that hadn't been known for 2,000 years. I, for one, see no need to continue sweeping VPW's dirty secrets under the carpet.

Why worry about people's flesh? Well, I would think that a man of high caliber, such as yourself, would have remembered those sections of scripture that talk about a leader being beyond reproach or those sections that talk about how a man is known by his fruit.

Oh, sure, we could go 'round and 'round about forgiveness and sonship rights and all that sort of thing. Personally, I think that would be an exercise in futility if it's tempered with rationalization and cognitive dissonance.

Have a nice flight!

It's not you and I who disagree. You disagree with God (Romans 2:1). But I don't know if people here still believe in the word, so maybe that doesn't mean much.

No more flying for me. Retired a few years ago. Just spend most of my time in the word. I still love it.

We do not all do the same things.  We may have similar situations, similar opportunities, similar potential, similar thoughts, similar choices.   We don't all do the same things.

I don't see how everyone needing God's help makes everyone equal.  Mayb rrobs, whoever you are, is equal to VPW.  Which is your choice.  That doesn't mean the rest of us are your equal.

You are right about that. We don't all do the same things. My rotten flesh does different things than your rotten flesh. Still rotten is rotten and one's no better than the other. Keep your eyes on God and his word. Nothing rotten about it!

Rom 2:1,

Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.

If that doesn't mean you condemn yourself when you condemn VP, what does it mean?

How do you figure that? You say a leader's *works of the flesh* are not important. The scriptures emphatically contradict that.

As to believing The Word: Whose version are we to believe? Wierwille's version is filled with inaccuracies and private interpretation. If you don't believe that, I suggest your give this site a much deeper look instead of just flying by, convincing yourself we're all misguided. For example: did you even bother to compare the sections of Stile's book and Wierwille's book? That is, after all the topic being discussed. Perhaps you might comment on why they seem to be so similar.

Finally, this isn't a Christian site, though many of the posters are Christians. Some are not. All religious persuasions (or lack thereof) are welcome to post here, as long as they keep it civil and follow the rules.

Where did I say works of the flesh are not important? Maybe you misunderstood something I said. Of course we should walk worthy of the vocation to which we are called. But we often fail, some more than others.

Cruise GSC to learn the word? I don't think so. I doubt greatly I'll learn as much of the word here than I did from VP. But that's just me. You are probably different. By the way, I've written a few papers that contradict VP so I don't follow him blindly. I go Berean and see if the things he said are true or not. I've found the vast majority to be true. But VP was certainly not perfect. He was a man subject to the same mistakes we all make. That's why we have a loving God. That is to whom we look, not any man. Probably all men will eventually disappoint.

I think I can remember a part of PFAL where VPW had a bunch of "X"s of different sizes.  He mentioned it doesn't matter the size they're all the same.

Which is complete nonsense.  Some fruit is certainly better than other fruit.  Everyone knows that, as I believe you do too.

I condemn VP's works.  I condemn the works of those who follow VP's works.  If you follow VP's works, you are hurting others.  I condemn my own acts that are a result of following VP's works.  I've worked to understand and undo those works.  Is that clear to you?

I am not going to agree that we're all suddenly now equal, so that a false ideal can be introduced and glorified, thereby we agree to commit more evil.

VPW's works are evil.  What you call The Word, God's Word, is really the works of an evil man which you have fallen for in your weakness.  You are misusing and misrepresenting an ancient document (The Bible) to see the world as VPW taught you to see it.

I'm not trying to put words in your mouth so I'll ask you forthright... Are you trying to say that, because he was human and all humans make mistakes, that it was o.k. for him to blatantly steal (yes, I said steal. Plagiarism is theft.) the works of other men and claim that God gave them to him?

Did you even examine at the comparison I posted? I suggest you do so before you proclaim you know what it contains.

Rich R......I remember you quite well. I flew on that plane while you were pilot, several times. You had a mustache and darker hair back then..... Thanks for the safe flights. I remember you as a diligent and kind man.

However, "The Truth" is whatever each human decides it is......whether that be "The Word", the Koran, Dianetics, The Bagha Va Gita, the writings of The Buddha, Confucius, The Beatles, Bertrand Russell, Ted Nugent, Clapton, The Southern Baptist Convention, The United Methodist Church, The Haddakahs and Hallakahs of Judaism, Aristotle, Augustine, Thomas Aquinas, The Tibetan Book of the Dead, The Great Spirit of the Indigenous Peoples of North America, Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, The Unitarian Universalist Church, The Aztecs, Incas, and Mayan Empires, Zoroastrian deism,  Astrology, The Mormons,  The Egyptian Gods and Pharoahs, The Roman and Greek gods and goddesses, atheism, socialism, capitalism, and on and on and on. Whatever you feel dictor paul taught you that is still beneficial to you today, is a positive, personal outcome of your "working" with and for him. Unfortunately, your single positive experience is grossly overshadowed by the DOCUMENTED and even ADJUDICATED experiences of hundreds of innocent victims of the same creep you say taught you "The Truth". Victims of his sexual abuse and serial rape. Victims of his "righteous anger". Victims of his fiduciary irresponsibility. Victims of his thefts and frauds. Victims of his pathological mental illnesses and his vicious, narcissistic, spiteful vengeance. Victims of his Nazi and racial hatred. Victims of his unabashed misogyny. Victims of his violent, sociopathic outbursts of repressed rage. Victims of his untreated alcoholism and later opioid abuse. Victims of his perverted peccadilloes and sexual deviance. Victims of his capricious, petulant sense of "biblical justice". Victims of his murderous self-loathing and rabid insecurities. Victims of his sociopathic, malignant, paranoid, narcissistic personality disorder and total lack of moral conscience. I am glad you were able to avoid and/or escape these character traits of your faddah-in-da-woid. I am sad for the many hundreds who enjoyed no such good fortune at the hands of that toxic, anti-Christ hater.

There is hatred here at the GSC. Hatred for the whited sepulchers hypocrisy of dictor Paul, da forehead, and all the deadly iterations of Vic's phony "minus-tray". There is hatred here for the hubris, greed, and vulgar dishonesty of Vic and his boyz in da hoods. There is hatred here for the methods used to drive faithful innocents to suicide, and substance abuse. There is hatred here for the coerced abortions of vic's illegitimate offspring. There is hate here for pompous, egregious, self-serving and self-aggrandizing hateful arrogance with which dictor paul conducted his daily affairs and "business".

Apparently, you lucked out in avoiding the traps so many less fortunate  wayfers walked right into. I'm happy for you. However, if you wish to continue your prepubescent delusions and affections for dictor paul, you have indeed come to the wrong place. But, as long as you're willing to take the heat for your 35 year old memories of life flying for the owner of Shangri-La and living da "truth" you are welcome to post here and flaunt your delusional memories in the faces of the many victims of Vic who also post here. You are NOT hated here Rich. The lies and evil, perverse deeds done to many hundreds of innocent Christians by your faddah-in-da-woid are..............peace.

I am sorry you suffered because of VP. It is certainly not God's will for you to suffer like that.

I was actually one of the first people to leave the Way. I guess that makes me a non-wafer. Whatever. The point is, I left the Way,  not God or his word. God is still God and he is certainly bigger than you, me, VP, or the Way. There is no need for you to somehow undo the works you did. They are in the past. Can't do a thing about them now. I would just suggest you get the hell out of GSC. It is only feeding your anger and hurt. Believe that God can help you turn things around so you can live a blessed life. Remember,

Matt 6:19-20,

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

VP, the Way, GSC, they are all things of the earth.

No, they're not similar. By literary standards, they are identical. One was published in 1948, the other in 1972. That's called plagiarism. If you are not familiar with what constitutes plagiarism, we would be glad to enlighten you. If two high school books did this, it would still be plagiarism.

Why didn't you just let it go by saying I was fortunate to avoid the traps? Why all the attacks. I'm still a diligent and kind man. Kinder, really (age does that I guess). The vitriol shown to me here at GSC is really out of bounds. I don't get castigated as much when I post Jesus is not God on trinity blogs. I'm not kidding about that either. Have we completely forgotten the Bible? Sad to say, it seems that way.

I just thought I could help people heal a little bit here with the word. Stupid me, I guess.
