I'd all but forgotten about Forkey Deer/ Forked Deer. LOVELY fiddle tune in *D*. We used to do it all the time for square dances, when I was in the Wild Thyme String Band. The key change from part A to part B always seemed to energize the dancers! Hearing it again ----- >>> I had to pull out the fiddle and pick along!! Those two started it out right -- but DANG!!! they went into keys that taxed the fingers!
