apparently he is up for parole this month sometime (October 2012)

What exactly does "up for parole" mean? Is he scheduled for release or for a hearing before the parole board for them to consider whether they should release him?

It is my understanding that there will be a hearing, and provided he has not incurred blackmarks during his incarceration it is likely he will be released on parole followed by supervised probation. I cannot see the posts on the info site set up by the victims and have not found it on the official court docket yet, but I see the admin on that site and others have chattered about it.

Every once in a while I get a Linkedin update. This one included "people you may know".. the character has the same name, went to Bowling Green University, presently located in Colorado, and appears to be a financial manager(?) for DTC Energy Group. I looked them up. Search on their website, his name yields no results.

A financial managerial job.. after what.. two years of incarceration on a financial felony conviction?

Maybe its not the same guy..

Maybe the Linkedin references comprise some kind of "wish list"..

I dunno.

It's going to take the minimum of an administrator's salary to recompense the victims..

over a number of years..

God Speed, if you acquired that kind of employment..

Life under Intense Management can't really be sweet. You're only allowed to be home and at work and other places by arrangement. But unless it's in your list of allowed places, don't expect to stop in the 7-11 for coffee on the way to work! Random urine tests mean no drugs and probably no alcohol, although you might have a low level tolerated. Your right to vote is only rescinded if you're incarcerated for one year and 1 day. But you can't get it back.

The ankle bracelet means they will always know where you are.

You know, now that I am writing all this, maybe we'd be better off if most of the prison's clientelle (the non violent ones) had this kind of Intense Management. They would at least pay their own way....

Victoria Hirschfeld's Linked in shows her working at DTC Energy Group-

https://www.linkedin...feld/91/22b/343

DTC's Facebook page has a picture of the family at a charity event. At least they are doing something nice for others. Wonder how they are doing at paying off the people they bilked?

https://www.facebook...?type=1

It looks like Adam Hirschfeld also works for DTC

Incarceration is pretty much a big business now.. with corresponding privatization.

cheap labor..

the State pays for housing, food..

It's all about the first part of the 13th amendment to the US Constitution.

Not just cheap labor, but slavery.

Well well well. The topic of Hirschfeld came to mind earlier today after an acrimonious exchange with a former WC17 member and Gunnison staffer on someone's FB wall. Upon reviewing the vitriolic ex- WC 17 members profile, and seeing that he is the CEO and President of an LLC investment group, I Googled his company. It was started in 2008 in Centennial, CO. That triggered my memory. Adam Hirschfeld moved from Castle Rock, CO to Centennial, CO. Subsequently he was indicted in 2015 for securities fraud for an 18 month period between 2010-2011. He also failed to inform clients that he was under investigation at the time for prior violations:

https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/dora/Adam-Edward-Hirschfeld-indicted

As if that is not enough, he is now a defendant in a 2017 civil suit brought by former employer DTE:

https://www.pacermonitor.com/public/case/21968613/DTC_Energy_Group,_Inc_v_Hirschfeld_et_al

So the plot thickens. Hirschfeld's first business was based out of his home.

WC17 guy is running an investment corporation with a listed address as his Centennial address.

My advice to investors? Go to Vanguard.

My advice to investors.  Bitcoin or Ethereum.  As judges have stated in their opinions, keep your money far away from these clowns.
