Simon, of course we did. And it is proper to call Udders tits during our show and tell of our abilities.

I will never forget when all of the then 9th Corps returning from our interim year, a Gunnison, you said," Well I don't want to sound redundant, but I was blessed on my time on staff". Simon you were well educated but a jerk. I likee! DID NOT MY HEART GO OUT UNTO YOU

Thanks for the tit, err, tip, about Uncle Harry, sexie. I remember the days he was young & firm...

Simonion, I second John's request that you be about your travel to Florida. In the mouth of 2 or 3 witnesses shall every word be established... You & your brother can shack up in the same unit you had so maany maany years ago. This time, please leave the soiled bed sheets when you move on... and pick up the beer cans.

That's a good question - why DID he nap?? Gee, I don't remember getting too many naps... To me, it fringes on IDULTRY. Did he ever go to TEENIE, NM, for LEAD?? Did he ever get more than a level Lay-Dul full of barley at sup-per?? Did he ever FEESH in the river?? Was his life REP-RE-SENT-TA-TIVE of the rest of the corps??

A got a problen with this...

Folding the laundry and boogie-ing down.

Next Subject:

I have a friend whose little baby girl has stopped eating. Has to be fed with a syringe. Please pray for this beautiful little girl, and for her mom, who is waaay past exhausted. Doctors are keeping close watch.

Be thankful when your children are well and healthy enough to drive you nuts.

Figured I'd better post something here before our beloved thread ended up on page two,or down in the achives somewhere...

As long as we're discussing our chores,I was boogie-ing down emptying my closet so's I could paint it and came across my graduating way corpse picture, sporting a blue polyester suit and a pair of black,patent-leather loafers, shaking the doc's hand with Dr. Dean Don in the background and Craig at the lecturn, most likely reading Joe LaValley's name since he followed me alphabetically...I also found two certificates:a certificate of graduation of the way corpse four year training program and an Associate's of Theology Degree,...both with the heading of the "Indiana Campus"....What's up with that?...Must have been a legal thing since I was only at Indiana for a couple of weeks...

They're probably not worth much, but I do have some fun telling people I have an associate's degree in theology, especially if I'm trying to win their trust in case I need it later...So,how's the rest of the riffraff doing around here?

Yo, Simon. Still boogie-ing, but without as much pep in mah step at the moment, since there are about 140 essays waiting for me to grade them . . .

I'll pull a Scarlet O'Hara, and think about that tomorrow . . .

Did the family stuff, running-the-kids-all-around, shopping, cleaning, laundry thing today. Ran myself to a frazzle.

Then, tonight, one of the kids just melted my heart.

If, as Jim Croce sang, I could save time in a bottle, I'd want to keep the past hour or so.

'night, all.

:sleep1:

Oh, don't count on that.

It's just so hard to be humble when you're us.

Wait . . . just a minute . . .

I thought so. Yup, I feel a song comin' on.

Ahem.

Drop Kick Me, Jesus, through the Goalposts of Life,

End over End, neither left nor to right

Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights,

Dropkick me, Jesus, through the goalposts of life.

Make me, oh make me, Lord more than I am

Make me a piece in your master game plan

Free from the earthly tempestion below

I’ve got the will, Lord if you’ve got the toe.

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life

End over end neither left nor to right

Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life.

Take all the brothers who’ve gone on before

And all of the sisters who’ve knocked on your door

All the departed dear loved ones of mine

Stick’em up front in the offensive line.

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life

End over end neither left nor to right

Straight through the heart of them righteous uprights

Drop kick me Jesus through the goal posts of life.

HEY! ...where have I been??? ...oh yeah, Santa Fe for the last month...

this weekend these folks are at the hotel... the place stinks of sage and incense... lots of spiritual enlightenment happening here! ...come get some!

The folks on the right going by Kaa and Raa are from Atlantis!!! I never met anyone from Atlantis before... of course we at the hotel know him as "Gerald" since that's the name he used to sign the contract...

What a lively bunch... should I join? hmmm... wonder what kind of refreshments they have...

Welcome home, Tommy Strange. I've missed you.

And not to tattle on your 9th Corps brothers and sisters or anything, but while you were away, they let the 9th Corps thread slip as far down as 4th place (yes, you heard me, 4th PLACE!) in the Corps threads. After the Sickth, 8th, and 17th Corps.

You got back in the nick of time.

Fodder? Oh, my . . . :) that reminds me of another song . . .

Don't have any L.E.A.D. flashbacks, or anything.

Camp Granada

Hello muddah, hello faddah

Here I am at Camp Granada

Camp is very entertaining

And they say we'll have some fun if it stops raining.

I went hiking with Joe Spivy

He developed poison ivy

You remember Leonard Skinner

He got ptomaine poisoning last night after dinner.

All the counselors hate the waiters

And the lake has alligators

And the head coach wants no sissies

So he reads to us from something called Ulysses.

How I don't want this should scare ya

But my bunkmate has malaria

You remember Jeffrey Hardy

They're about to organize a searching party.

Take me home, oh muddah, faddah

Take me home, I hate Granada

Don't leave me out in the forest where

I might get eaten by a bear.

Take me home I promise I will not make noise

Or mess the house like other boys.

Oh please don't make me stay

I've been here one whole day.

Dearest faddah, darling muddah,

How's my precious little bruddah

Let me come home, if you miss me

I would even let Aunt Bertha hug and kiss me.

Wait a minute, it's stopped hailing.

Guys are swimming, guys are sailing

Playing baseball, gee that's better

Muddah, faddah kindly disregard this letter.
