On stage - Craig Martindale

Looked at Josiah in the Leaders Meetings. He was adamant and enraged spiritually. Used to call him God's John Wayne, Rambo, Terminator, etc. He died because he hardened his heart against the Word of the Lord. The Word came down from a Gentile king and Josiah didn't recognize the truth.

Truth on the devil's heels is still truth. Gideon overheard the Middean conversation. God always gets the truth to us if we will recognize it. The Word is still the key - truth can come from a variety of scenarios. I've got to be able to recognize it from many angles.

Jehoshaphat - aligned with Ahab but called upon the Lord and God saved him. He died at the end of his life because he went back in alignment with Ahab.

The flight from Florida after the Trustee Annual Meetings - three times Rev. Martindale knows they could have died on the flight. The guys never checked the weather report for the flight back. Within 15 to 20 minutes they were in turbulence.

When Howard Allen drove the coach for Dr. Wierwille, he was mentally in the back - meaning he was aware of the exaggerated movements in the back of the coach.

The 4th major near fiasco was in December of 1197 when Rev. Martindale and his family with Rev. Rosalie Rivenbark were to go out to Gunnison. On two other occasions Rev. Martindale confronted Harm Olthouse - Athletes pilot.

He thinks like a pilot - not like a minister - he needs to protect people. It's a habit of old Corps - "grace" thinking - it backs off people and then they cover. It's a devil spirit lie.

Rev. Martindale has grounded Flight Services since the Trustee trip - indefinitely.

Maybe Perry Priester could be the pilot. Supposed to go to Gunnison in mid-April.

Rev. Rosalie Rivenbark supposed to go to Georgia to check out Advanced Class locations but not on the plane now.

Rev. Martindale keeps re-checking his decisions. $4800.00 to go to Gunnison first class; $1200.00 to go coach. Only doing Advanced Class Special; because it's right spiritually and it will make a profit.

They are now Corps Alumni. Harm will work in the Maintenance Dept. Debra will perform on Sunday, but not on Corps Morning.

Even if the wife is quality, it still doesn't cover the husband - they're dealt with as a couple. Gotta deal with stuff - God won't "take care of it."

Ezek 14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

Ezek 14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourneth in Israel, which separateth himself from me, and setteth up his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

Ezek 14:8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Rev. Martindale teaches about the failures because they are a sign and a proverb, a lesson in themselves. A sign of the evil wrought. Have to take a negative situation and turn it into a positive teaching while being honest about the error and the mistakes (like Dr. taught about Peter Wade coping out).

Professional people (like pilots) can lord their training over revelation if they don't stay sharp (like Way Builders).

Claudettee is the only one left out of Joyful Noise. They all thought they knew better than God. No one has any right to put anyone else's life on the line. Harm put the Trustees life on the line by flying through rough weather when he could have gone around the storm.

Fear - afraid of losing their Corps status; afraid of hurting their family.

That's a cover for a deeper weakness. That fear is never the root system, or the common denominator. It's a ploy to back of the confrontation. A great talent of the past - apologize and not do anything about it - you have to follow up! You have to see some change. Long term deeply embedded bad habits - why let myself get to that point? When you ordain somebody, it tatoos to your soul.

The Kip and Rosanne Holdren are dropped. Moving to CO after school's out. Rosann Holdren was teaching wrong doctrine.

Cookie Lofstedt (Don Weirwille's secretary of about 20 years - just given a field assignment) resigned. Moving to New Jersey. She had a cat - what's involved there?

The littlest thing can be the telling blow when you're not meek.

The Newton's dropped (Jim - New Jersey Limb Coordinator). They are now Corps Alum moving to New York.

Terry Sink resigned herself. Salem, OR.

Dana and Denise Lanham dropped as well.

Peter and Nancy Annicharico also dropped and going to Concord, NH.

Key concept brought up - all agree .

Every Corps overseer should oversee two fellowships on field minimum. Can't justify the salary for a Way Corps overseer to just oversee a fellowship. After next year - they'll need to generate two twigs. Enough potential there. There should be great fields of outreach fertile to the touch. The Corps have to be leaders of tens minimum. C.P.4. (Corps Principle 4) Go to the Word deeper and move more aggressively.

Biblical confrontation - there's still a breakdown in bringing it before the household. Have to do the Word or we can't make proper judgements. If I expect my ministries to function I have to do the Word. What does it mean to bring it before the church?

There is an appropriate body that will get their attention. That's where you get discouraged and you let it go - it forfeits the learning and training. There's always profit when you do the Word; no matter if the person doesn't change. There will be no excuses for an individual at the Bema if you do the Word and give them every opportunity to change. It takes thinking - check with your overseer, or the adversary can figure out where to get in.

In the event of a Corps person being confronted - Rev. Martindale wants an immediate written report by mail within 24 hours. The facts, words and immediate response of the people. Give them time to change. At least a week or two. Remember, Rev. Martindale might be able to help. Get your best people involved in an emergency. Be part of the believing process. Learned that 2 years ago in the ice storm. If you can't think in an emergency, what good are you? You should wonder why people don't call on you if it's your area of responsibility. You want to be a part of the fight.

New Policy - Corps files - don't collect money for a Corps gift for Rev. Martindale this year.

Corps files will be returned at graduation. Every 5 years from your graduation, will return to you anything in your Corps file.

Calendar dates were set for FNC, INT, and DTA classes.

The minimum number for new students for a class has been lessened. Varied the new student minimum to the size of the work. Working on a theme for next year - will be The Promised Land of the Prevailing Word: ......something.

ACS details - will announce on Pentecost. Working on ordinations - maybe at the ACS.

W.C. Field program (an Corps in-residence portion of the training) - 5/29 -6/6/98. All in the Rocky Mountain Region. For 7 days only instead of 10.

All in-residence Corps at Gunnison will go LEAD this year - elder and younger. LEAD 253

4/24 - 5/2. Horneys overseeing.

Status change lists will be issued every 3 months.

When Rev. Martindale gets to I Timothy 3:8ff on Corps Morning, he wants to send all the Corps Alum a tape of it. Really wants them on the hookup, but it's not available.

When Corps are dropped from active Corps (DFAC) - Rev. Martindale doesn't want their diploma or their Corps ring, they earned that.

He does want any Way Corps mailings that contain sensitive information - any leadership tapes, status sheets, class coordinator guides, financial records.

Way Disciple - between Resurrection Sunday and Pentecost - will be a Sunday commissioning.

9/18-20/98 - will be training next Way Disciple group. The program will still be 6 months. Their recognition will be 4/16-18/99.

Way Disciples Group IV received a $100.00 gift certificate to the Bookstore - each kid got $50.00. They also received a music tape made especially for them, their fee waived to take the Advanced Class, and a special video Rev. Martindale made for each Region where they're serving. 4/4 or 4/5 will be their recognition.

Examples: like in CT - angel pins first originated. Samuel Colt from Hartford CT, as well as Thomas Hooker. The 1st woman ordained as a minister was in Rochester, NY. There are so many church steeples in Charleston, SC, that it's called the holy city. There are 900 software companies in Austin, TX. It's rated as the 3rd best place to live in the US. It's either Austin TX or Salt Lake City UT, that has an urban bat colony. UT also the site of the next winter Olympics with 14 resorts in the state.

Dr. Victor Paul Wierwille taught to have facts about a city or state so if it was appropriate you could read them and bless people. We've decided that we will keep children in the Way Disciple Program. Not going to send the Way Disciples to high rent areas like the coasts. Will keep them in the lower rent areas.

If Corps on the field doesn't have enough work, they'll get sent Way Disciple like the Wilson's did and send the Way Disciples to them.

No summer program for the household college kids. Mentioned about kids going to Europe - quoted Emerson saying travel is a fool's paradise.

Advanced class for grads on the field - next year - will run classs on the field like this year. We have been in a constant advanced class mode for about 2 years now. The adversary kicks up worse than any other time. So not running an Advanced Class next year. Will do 2 new student Advanced Classes a year from now at Camp Gunnison. So a year from April - that's it.

Placements - all leadership not coming in. Assignments on hold. Trustees and Cabinet will go over all decisions in May; still going to do Placement decisions in May. The next Placements won't be announced until June.

4/5-18/98 - communions on field. Do in larger meetings. Maybe in one year we'll do it by earthly families. Believe for great healing and deliverance for people. Rev. Martindale no doing much on the subject on Sunday. He wants to teach Thessalonians. Pentecost - not teaching Acts 2 -wants to teach Thessalonians.

How best to present new light on the worship manifestations? In Advanced Class there are 2 hours of teaching. Wants to edit and make it a go between between FNC and INT (prerequisite to the INT class).

Household Advances - camp outs, not a necessity anymore. Not going to do a state limb camping advance. IN - keep praying and believing for the sale.

Some people put in 10 to 12 applications to the Corps. If you don't make it, you don't make it.

Makes the recommending leader lazy; won't make a decision. Have to make it through the first two years of apprenticeship or you don't make it. If you're not convinced as an overseer after two years, then forget it. That person can't re-apply. If it's a calling, then it's a calling.

In-residence, you either make it or that's it. Genuine leave of absence - financial, medical situations - extenuating scenario comes up. Could have some exceptions; will deal with the exceptions as they come up.

Corps now will stick with original thinking of an interim and practicum year. First group to do new program is 27th or 28th Corps..

Considering - single Corps grad women marriage parameters - there are 80 single Way Corps women and 9 single Way Corps men.

Proposing: A sanctional exception. Corps grad for 2 years, 25 or older may get engaged to Corps Alum or Corps Advanced class. 1. Must be willing to go through in-residence training 2. Must be Corps candidates within 1 year of wedding; or within 2 years if having kids before entering the Way Corps. 3. Corps will give up Way Corps assignment to get married. You'd be free to date these men. If engagement doesn't go through, retains Corps Alum status.

The point is you're not breaking your commitment. Send response to Rev. Martindale. No prayer can cover for a lack of commitment and detail. Like-mindedness takes work/great humility. I'm not here to serve my opinion. I'm here to do the Word and will of God.

2 Cor 4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

We are not vigilant deficient. Ruth - example of a single woman. Deborah was married; served as a single woman. This household is the means to meet our need. Can't our needs be met by decisions made?
