WayDale has learned that a burial service will be held on Tuesday 10/10/2000 at 2pm. This service will be held at the Fountain of Living Waters Memorial Garden at The Way's property at New Knoxville. The service is said to be a private family service.

In a move that many see as setting the tone for her presidency of The Way, Rosalie Rivenbark is believed to have given strict instructions to Donald Wierwille's sisters and brother (Karen, Mary, Sara and J.P.) that they can have no more than one hour on The Way's property for this burial service. They have been told that they are allowed on the property between the hours of 2 and 3pm. This of course means that the Wierwille siblings will not have time to grieve their loss and spend time with their mother, Wanda and other relatives.

If this news is true (and we believe it is), many Way and ex-Way followers alike will be inflamed at this harsh, insensitive and cruel treatment of the Wierwille family. Most Way followers have a deep love for Mrs. V.P. Wierwille and the Wierwille family and this move will no doubt be seen by many as an insult to the Wierwille family.

Although the Wierwille siblings have traveled to Ohio for this service, it is uncertain if they will actually attend the burial given the cruel condition that they be off the property within an hour.
