One has to wonder what else they think they can do? Isn't being a formal cult big shot a limited resume? Imagine being white haired with no skills other than manipulating people. I preyed on innocent people and other people's spouses? I realized way too late in life that I add no value to society? Since this entire forum arose out of religious and spiritual abuse, and we're in Doctrinal: Exploring the Bible, I'll try to illustrate within a biblical context. John 20 is about Jesus appearing to the disciples in the upper room after he was buried. This story is obviously told from John's perspective, and either he or the later scribal editors were trying to make a point about Thomas and how it's better to believe blindly. But that's not the lesson revealed to me. Only because Thomas doubted was he vouchsafed the truth of the resurrection by Jesus himself. Only Thomas, of all the apostles, touched the incorporeal body of Jesus. Only Thomas went beyond BELIEF to true knowledge. Only Thomas, the DOUBTER, was awarded this astonishing understanding. He didn't have to BELIEVE it, he KNEW it, he found out. This is what I teach my son. Doubt everything and everyone (especially those claiming to HAVE the Truth.) Endeavor to find out for yourself, and you will. Maybe the author of John or the later scribal editors didn't like Thomas for some reason, or they were jealous of him, or he was out of fellowship and undeserving of spit. I don't know. But the lesson I get from this story was surely not their intention. It interpreted itself this way in spite of the scribes' intentions.

Wierwille never had a genuine experience in his prayer life with the worship manifestations so he stole Stiles experience and teaching along with manufacturing a miracle that is easily proven false. This is readily evident by each time you hear him perform the sit it is exactly the same lo shanta lol. Now two generations later they are re doing the same damn charts with new faces and the same equipment. How stupid do you need to be to promulgate a scam two decades after it fails working? I mean renovate a house or something not an intro class to an abusive cult. But hey stupidity never stops catching fish lol.

My extraordinary life first began on Myspace, plodding ahead with keeping up with the Joneses; but somehow, I lacked a very materialistic life. Then one time I was especially alerted when I read on social media that there was a man with a Th.M. (a degree in Materialistic Theology) who said he had come to give us an even more materialistic life. I was stupefied into submission. I looked about on social media and compared my current Facebook account where I post mostly pictures of myself. I could see that many online communities were manifesting a more materialistic life than I was. Thus, I earnestly began to pursue the question, “If this materialistic specialist came so that men and women might have a more materialistic life, why is it that my selfies on Facebook do not manifest even a materialistic life?”

Let's hope they got rid of the red drapes, Johnny Jumpup, Maggie Muggins, and some of the more obvious errors. No doubt they've also reworked the Orange and White books. Do they still push the collaterals, I wonder? I won't be signing up again to find out!!!!

Since leaving TWI I have been to quite a few churches from all walks of life. Most predominatly, African American churches that I've been to call their "Way Productions" praise and worship. I've seen some really inspiring performances ranging from interpretive dance to various size bands and styles of music. Im not pointing out way productions to be a jerk and rip on people who otherwise mean well in their efforts. Im putting it on here because instead of singing praises to the Lord they reinforce the cult liffestyle and cult isolation with their music. If you pay attention to way production lyrics the cult lifestyle reinforcement becomes really clear. The song that I posted just happens to be a shining example of what I am talking about. Im reminded of a vocal section from an older way productions song from the late 90s. Now I have heard a limited amount of old way productions from Pressed Down, and some others where I don't remember the group names. At one time they really had some good talent and a decent product so to speak. I think what happened to way productions (in part) is that it was micro-managed for so long by Wierwille, Craig, Rosalie, etc. Micromanaged by NON-MUSICIANS for so long that it's just gotten worse and worse over the years. The directors heavily micromanage anything coming out of the auditorium and that is directly related to the Allen lawsuit and efforts to remain lawsuit proof. They do not want anything said or sung that could be used in court. Anywho, the directors are largely out of touch with whats going on outside of TWI's microcosm and it shows in their music productions and teachings. Again, I'm not trying to be a butthole here either, there's substance to what I am pointing out. Also I am an accomplished musician in my own right. Been playing guitar since I was 12 (Ill be 50 next year), have played professionally when I was much younger, have played multiple styles, been to an accredited music school with a jazz based curriculim. But hey!...what do I know...lol

This might be believed, except.... -Someone mentioned plans to start up some other group over a year before the big meeting. -Someone registered the domain name "revival and restoration" several months before the big meeting. They already had plans for a new group before they ever met with the bod. Don't fool yourself into thinking otherwise.

Questions That Should Be Answered By R&R Leaders: Now that you guys are no longer with twi........are you, as described by wierwille, "cop-outs?" Do you think that you are possessed with *deceiving spirits* because you are not meek to twi's board of directors? If you are characteristically mislabeled (misjudged) and slandered......what about all other corps/clergy before you? Was wierwille using bully-tactics against others who "abandoned" his authoritarian rule? Since you've walked away from those who "taught you the Word"......have you lost all those rewards at the bema? Now that you are labeled "mark and avoid"......has your understanding of that term changed? Wierwille died of cancer.......do you still teach, as wierwille did, that cancer is a devil spirit? What about the "law of believing".......wasn't it misconstrued by cherry-picking scriptures? Let's address plagiarism. Wierwille stole B.G. Leonard's class and taught it as his own, didn't he? Books, articles, and sermons were "lifted" along the way....with hardly a mention to Stiles, Bullinger, or others? And, the "Red Thread" teaching was Rev. Oral Roberts "The Fourth Man" teaching......wierwille simply tweaked it, right? How about we talk about the *holy spirit field*..........if this was such a cornerstone of wierwille's ministry (cough, cough) why has it been neglected for the past 30 years? Who ever notes, in present-day reality......the demonstration of the spirit of word of knowledge, word of wisdom or discerning of spirits? Heck, I sat in the BRC in 1981 when Dr. Wierwille vehemently stated that an 8th corps guy had a daimon spirit......and after stern confrontation and fuming, wierwille walked away from this guy. No spirit was cast out and the corps guy went back to his unit, graduated, and went on LEAD staff. Huh? What are you guys doing to correct the DOCTRINAL errors that wierwille taught? What are you guys doing to "heal the bruised and broken-hearted" of those who wierwille and martindale sexually abused? Why are all of you guys "teachers?"...... Doesn't anyone have the gift of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist or a Pastor? Sheesh.....it reminds me of the saying, "Those that can't do....teach." I've got lots more questions..............but this is a good start. And, another thing........you guys REALLY need to pull your head out of this echo chamber of self-congratulations and cognitive dissonance. Go to church for a couple of months and learn from them. You guys sound boring as hell.

All these spin-off groups kinda remind me of those radio stations that still play Freebird 10 times a day. edit: I'm not talking about one of those oldies stations. I'm talking about the ones who have been playing it for the last 40+ years.
