    Tom, I'll have my limit-two beers please.hehe
  9. This discussion is good. So many things I just take for granted and never really checked it out. You've promted me to study this topic. Sonofarthur made some good points and so did dirtydzn. Dirty, you wouldn't be a former 12th corps would ya? Vegan, to check out the universal salvation idea I stumpled on that topic on truth or tradition. I too was drawn to that thought, I'm not convinced it's right on but I'm not discounting it. I'ld need to look at it more.
  10. Hi SONOFARTHUR I was raised a trinitarian, believed it for many years. Never understood it though. Then I learned about Christ not being God. I now hold to the latter teaching simply because I think the evidence is overwhelmingly in that favor. Even if you and I disagree, does that make us enemies? My best friend is a trinitarian yet he accepts me and makes no big deal out of it as do I. I believe the more important point is we are all in the same family and we are all pulling for the same thing which I believe is to bring people into a knowledge of Christ, i.e. accepting him as Lord and Savior. Take for instance the teaching on "the rapture", "the return" whatever you want to call it. We have pretrib. rapturalists, midtrib. rapt. and posttrib. rapt. but are these the real important points. Isn't the important point that He is coming back?
  11. Does anyone know how I could find Jeff Probasco and Paul Klass? If so email me at cmu8@hotmail.com

Hi Jonny, Yup, they shoot 22's that are specially made in Germany. The girl from Anchorage finished at the bottom of the heap. Heck this sport is still fairly new in the USA. Her last name was Steer.

Jonny, I went to the opening of the World Cup Biathlon in Fort Kent today. This family that was standing next to me was from Anchorage, Ak. Their son and daughter in law were competing. I forget their names but vary nice people. The father works for the government. Don't remember exactly what he does. He told us that the turn out here was better than the one in New York. I was surprised to hear that. But then he said it's not big in the USA Like it is in Europe. You should see the girls shoot those guns, man can they shoot!!

    10th Corps

Hi Jonny, I'll keep an eye out for Ally Z. We too have a big event coming up. World Cup Biatholon, don't know if your familiar with it. In Europe it is considered as big as what the Super Bowl is in American. Biatheletes are those people who compete in cross country skiing and on top of that they have to shoot a gun. They are in fantastic shape. This is the first time it is held in Northern Maine. We are all excited about it, not much happens here. Lee Turner!!! Where the heck is he now? In Texas?

Hi Jonny, good to hear from you and as usual you always crack me up with your stories. You can't blame Bob E., it's in his blood. The English call soccer a gentlemans game. I favored the Irish's take on soccer. Sort of like hockey except you've got a soccer ball.hehe Isn't this about the time of the year when they have the Ididarod dogsled race? We just finished a 250 mile race here. That's peanuts compared to yours but I think it is one of those races required for those who wish to do yours. My wife says hi. She loved your pictures you posted and finds you look like a wrestler due to your robust build.hehe
  17. My wife is from Huntington, WVa. I graduated from Fairmont State College and lived in Fairmont for three years. Love those stubborn West Verginains.hehe If your in Clarksburg check out a guy by the name of Giles Fischer, former sixth corps. Tell'em Frenchie from Maine says hi.
  18. Just want to say hi. I too am from Maine. I'm in the most northern town in Maine. Only two seasons up here, good snowmobiling and bad snowmobiling.
  19. Hi, If anyone knows how I could get in touch with Pat Conger (I forget her married name) please contact me at cmu8@hotmail.com thanks
