    Where Is LCM now?

How sad....at least two of his "kids" aren't children any more. They're adults. Seems they can't make the transition out to the real world.

    Where Is LCM now?

Does anyone have a link to his posting? I got to the Bally site, but not sure how to go further. Would like to read it for myself. Gee...leaving TWI did that for me!
  3. Momentus was supposed to be life changing and to put you on track. But didn't JAL step down or was put on hiatus for some indescretions? I thought Momentus was supposed to make a person see the error of their past ways and stop doing what they did. A friend of mine has gotten involved with Landmark. They're recruitment sounds the same....life changing and you will "get it" whatever that's supposed to mean. I told her that they're "not getting it" as in my money or time.
  4. This review was the BEST LAUGH I've had in a long time!!! I still have that freakin' tape. I'll have to watch it in light of all these editorials....especially the "ruptured chimpanzee" comment. :D-->
  5. Add Omega 3 fatty acids to your diet. You can get them in Flax seeds, ground flax meal sprinkled on oatmeal, or by eating salmon or taking fish oil capsules daily. Our brains need omega 3 fats and our american style of eating is tons of Omega 6 fatty acids found in regular vegetable oil. Plus, Omega 3 fats help to dissolve bad cholesterol buildup. Also, eliminate anything with hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils; they clog our veins and arteries. They are in most processed foods for long shelf life---like breads, cereals, snacks. People only think of heart attacks, but veins and arteries are throughout our body, including the brain.
  6. Shame on them all, especially DONNA MARTINDALE!! Mrs. W was like a mother to Donna. Maybe her own chldren will take note and treat her likewise someday.
  7. Reading all this that WW has so eloquently dissected for us explains how VP was able to take over the original guys who were street preachers---St#v# H##fn#r and J*mmy D*pp. With the help of others, he bullied them out of existence. Recently stated: To me, the corps program was THE BEGINNING OF THE END. Yeah, it could have been a wonderful blessing....if godly agendas were backing it. But wierwille, in his lust for power formed and conformed THE CORPS PROGRAM INTO HIS IMAGE......an image of arrogance, and self-serving lust. Teaching God and his love in simplicity is how those original street preachers taught and why we all came to TWI. It's also why so many have left.
  8. [He was there for himself, and his motives are known only to himself and the God he should fear.] I briefly knew LCM in the early days of TWI. I was lucky to be away from all the uglies. It's very possible that because he's no longer at the helm and is away from the day to day life of that hellish place, he can be more his own person. For the first time since his college days, he is working a real job and spending time with others who truly have a LIFE outside of a cult. It's got to have given him a different perspective...maybe even a time to heal himself somewhat. For LCM, this may have been a time to mourn her publicly and maybe to reflect sorrowfully on his part in everything. I agree that he would be damned either way. And knowing Mrs Wierwille, she would be the one gracious person to always say to anyone who genuinely sorrowed, "Welcome Home".
  9. Interesting. This is the first post I've seen that is contrary to what others have said about their relationship. Why has this taken so long for someone to say so? Is it because others assumed the worst?
  10. What struck me as odd with the Corps experience is I saw many intelligent and well off people go into the Corps. By the time they graduated, they looked so shabby [except for the suits and long dresses]. Because they were instructed to be *extremely* frugal, they got their clothing by swapping with each other or by what was left behind from previous Corps folks. I remember this one elegant person; she went in with beautiful clothing and well kept [and current] hairstyle. I attended a meeting she held after her graduation. She was in an outfit that was at least 10 years out of style, it was too tight, and all the wrong colors for her. Her hair was in serious need of repair! She looked old. And all the while spouting the MORE than abundant life!! This gal was a successful businesswoman who had sold all her earthly possessions to go Way Corps. Man, talk about wielding guilt with scripture---sell all your possessions. Sheesh, that was at a particular time with Jesus, and VP ain't no Jesus!!!
  11. They were 8th Corps and good friends long ago. I lost track of them. Does anyone know where they are?

    Two girls

I had a similar situation with my daughter and this very dysfunctional friend of hers. My daughter felt guilty setting boundaries or hurting the other one. Our children are just that---children. We can teach them the right behavior, but that doesn't mean putting themselves in harms way for what seems to be "the greater good". The devil will use that against good people EVERYTIME! I mean, why do WE feel guilty and the perpetrator does not??? You cannot help someone who doesn't want it or cannot recognize they need help. I moved my daughter----out of the area to live with her dad. It was the quickest way to break that suffocating chain. And what happened to that other girl? She just moved on to her next victim. Her parents were of no help, the school didn't help. These are sick kids whom I believe have real problems of spiritual darkness. When conditions go beyond logic-------
  13. WOW Steve!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. YIKES!! Reading all this hype by VP, I was just imagining what he would've been like if he'd lived long enough to participate in infomercials????? A farm-boy version of Tony Robbins!
