Of course had he been honest then his cult never would have become as "big" as it did. But if VPW had known that, one day, any 10 year old could find out the truth about snow on gas pumps, who invented the hook shot and what Pike's Peak really was, plagiarism etc. ...would he have been a more honest minister? D-Tension is an ex wayfer (family 9) and a touring hip hop artist. While that music may or may not be your thing, you have to see this. He performs a wedding as a rap song. The groom is Kevin Stevenson, a musician who has played in The Mighty Mighty Bosstoned and Weezer. He asked D-Tension to turn the vows into a rap song. This is priceless:

Wow. ummm I mean holy cow. The HR rumours seem to be true. BRIP's coup looks like it ends with a "promotion" to H.R. so he can over see "the future" of TWI. for now. He gets his raise and a promise of a future promotion to the BOT. He's supposed to influence the future of TWI and be in line for a "leadership" position that he's "almost" ready for. This smacks of some kind of backroom comprimise. Just like God intended. lol

I didn't read the whole thread but if you don't understand how damage from a cult can still be a damaging and stressful part of your life after decades removed from the problmem, then you don't understand what a cult is and how powerful mind control techniques can be. I've been OUT for 20 years and the trauma, while not what it once was, is still there in many subtle ways. It takes many years to come to grips with all of it especially if it was something you ived and breathed 24 hours a day for decades. It's shell shock. There are plenty of war vets who never recovered and they were only in for a couple of years. Look it up. it's not all that different

I'm sure there are plenty of people who wish the new Pres to be someone else. Remember, this isn't a movement within TWI's "membership". This is back room/shadow government stuff. "Is it because of who is parents are?" Parrtly "I'm sure there are others of his peers who can bring much more to the table." Maybe a few. But he does have the total package. "Have his peers really thought about why it should be him? Or are they just used to following." If he gets promoted, they get promoted. His Peers have no shot at the job themselves but they would make a nice cabinet. "So, is it just habit, or is there something truly amazing about him that his peers feel he should be the next president?" Charisma, pedigree, brains, looks, etc

I agree with half of that. He definetly wants things to change. I don't think anyone in or out can doubt that. Many innies have commented on his rebeliousness and anger about the current state and recent past of twi. I am just not sure that God is his 100% motivation. He wants a promotion for the same reason anyone wants a promotion: More money, more vacation days, 401K, company car and the adoration of the entire company.

I've known him for almost 30 years and was never fond of him at all. We had to learn to work together and function together but he was not a nice fellow. He indeed had a sense of entitlement and flaunted his privilage like a badge of honor. he put people down on an hourly basis. When we got older his venom was more subtle, kinda like his dad. It doesn't surprise me at all that he's trying to orchestrate a hostile take over. Of course I may have blown that for him by talking about it here. Sorry Brip!

I remember being told that VPW chose to die because he was so dissapointed in the way Craig turned out and that he couldn't stand to see his ministry destroyed and that he was being ignored and treated like an old nutcase. Sounds like a good cover for the reality that he had cancer. It was after his death that most found out that he and Craig were of the same perverted ilk so the dying on purpose story made sense to a lot of people.

If only it were that simple. Brian was the exception to all rules. He was allowed to go to college while I was expected to go wow/corps. He went in residence years after his peers. We drank water, he had Dr. Pepper. We had smelts, he had steak. We had apple sauce, he had chocolate cake. The goal of every teen was to become friends with Brip Moneyhands. He was a meal ticket. How very Christian. Come to think of it, many colleges have free or reduced admission for the children of employees. Makes me wonder if Brip had to ever get spiritual partners or not.

Well Brian went to college so he might actually have a career outside of TWI. (he was always the exception, went to private school while we went to public school in Rome City) But a lot of these guys went the high school/Junior Corps to WOW to Way Corps route. In fact when I left one of the reasons was the pressure I was getting to go WOW and then go in residence rather than go to college. So a lot of these guys, including Brian to a know nothing else. We were Way babies being groomed to become clergy. Thank God I left and found my own path. But my old pals have nothing else and that is what is motivating them to try this take over. It's a career move, it has nothing to do with God or what's right. They remember what it was like when TWI was actually profitable. We all had houses, Chevy Citations, girls and status. Just like Jesus wink*wink. So to answer your question, they are trying to improve business for their own gain out of a lack of having any other game plan for life.

Well, it's stronger than a rumor and less than true. Like I said, these guys are angling for this to happen. They are putting their own wheels in motion. There is nothing factual about the outcome intended until it happens or doesn't. I know you don't know me so it's cool with me if you file it as rumor. But it's not out of the blue, I'm not making it up. The way I see it, things are perculating towards a shake up. "It seems weird that these guys called you GJ. They should have KNOWN you would put it on here." I don't think they know that GJ is ME. Almost no one knows who I am. But I lead these guys at one time. They paid me great respect as a leader until I admitted I was a pathetic foot kisser and moved on with real life. So, yes, it's strange but not because of gsc.com.
