  1. darn it-how can I NOT say I know this show-I even remember Bob Cummings leaving the show before the end of the season (supposedly because he and Julie didn't get along ) and my favorite 60's second banana Jack Mullaney taking the lead. Of course the only reason to watch was Julie Newmar. But I 'll let someone else name the show.

  2. I was stupid ok-in my original clue I referred to Pete Duel as a future western star who killed himself-I somehow missed the bold type, and assumed george was commenting on the topic I brought up-it didn't occur to me to name the show. I take full responsibility for the communication meltdown-I just don't know whos' turn it is now.

  3. I think no one is going to get this-I don't want to short circuit the game again, as I do so often, so I'll reveal it was a show called 'Broadside' around 1964. Kathy Nolan from Real McCoys, and Sheila James from Dobie Gillis played WW11 Waves on a south sea island, along with Dick Srageant (Darrin 11)

    takit anyone.

  4. "He never got a dinner " is the phrase that Red Buttons was known by. He said that so often about himself , referring to career respect, that it eventually became forever tied to him. I thought that was the give away clue. That you deduced the show without it is doubly impressive.
