Does this mean after the second coming that God will create puppets on a string so that everything will be perfect? Mankind will not have the ability to go against God’s will?

    NO!

    https://christianreconciliation.net/book-oursaviorjesuschrist.html
From the last part of the final chapter of my biblical teaching book is the following to help educate people with clearly quoted scriptures.

Next, we have verses which show the free will of humanity. The choice being given to humanity of doing good or not doing good. In a favorable way, I see this as the followers of Jesus Christ being persuaded in heart to fully follow Christ. This starts with learning about Jesus Christ in a favorable positive way and believing in Jesus Christ as Lord.

    Revelation 22:10-11
10 And he saith unto me, Seal not up the words of the prophecy of this book; for the time is at hand.  11 He that is unrighteous, let him do unrighteousness still: and he that is filthy (ruparos), let him be made filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him do righteousness still: and he that is holy, let him be made holy still.  (ASV)

The Greek word for filthy is “ruparos”, while literally involving dirty clothing. This is clearly seen in the only other usage for this Greek word in the New Testament in James 2:2. Also according to the Thayer’s Greek Lexicon this means: “filthy, dirty: properly of clothing”. Yes, clothing can be cleaned with the help of a washing machine or hand cleaned with water and cleaning ointment. Revelation 22:11 represents spiritual uncleanness, with unrighteous acts. Next, we have more symbolic language of those who wash their robes. This shows that those who change from bad to good through Jesus Christ will be able to enter in through the gates into the city. Outside of what he thought as the New Jerusalem, John still saw those who were bad with him comparing them to dogs. Dogs are seen favorably today, but during the first century before dogs were trained to be good, dogs were symbolically seen as bad. Just like dogs have been trained today to be good in nations like the United States. In the future under Jesus Christ more and more of humanity will be retrained to be good and followers of Christ. Then and only then will they be able to enter in through the gates into the city that represents the savior Jesus Christ. This can be read in Revelation 21:24-26. Even nations or a large amount of people will be able to see the glory of God and the Lamb who is Jesus Christ.

    Revelation 22:14-15
14 Blessed are they that wash their robes in the blood of the Lamb: that they may have a right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.  15 Without are dogs, and sorcerers, and unchaste, and murderers, and servers of idols, and every one that loveth and maketh a lie.  (Douay-Rheims)

What John saw was the free will ability to do good or not do good. In order to go through the gates into the city of salvation with eternal life, being a follower of Jesus Christ is required. Jesus Christ as savior is symbolically seen when humanity washes their robes or clothing with the blood of Christ as the Lamb of God. Certainly, blood is not used for washing and cleaning. This represents Jesus’ earthly life and death for the payment of the sin nature of humanity. Then God raised Jesus Christ from the dead so that all people who believe and follow his Son may have eternal life in the future “new heaven and a new earth” (KJV, Revelation 21:1). People that are bad and evil will or would need to make a major change. However, Paul also named Saul from his Jewish heritage, made a very large change from being hateful while perhaps being the main persecutor of the followers of Jesus Christ to being the main and most informative teacher of the New Testament. Paul saw the change that Jesus Christ could make with all of humanity. Even the ones like he was before he became a follower of Jesus Christ.

  2. Hi Oldiesman:  How is your state of New York, which I often pronounce with an English accent as Noo Yawk. Hopefully, I was successful in getting you to laugh. As I write or text in my biblical teaching book a number of times. God did not make humanity as a puppet on a string with God controlling everything that we think and do. God simply gives humanity the free will ability to do different things with God not controlling everything that we think and do. Yes, God can and does help humanity, but if people are unfairly treated by other people and allowed to do this. God will make up for this unfair treatment with the future judgement of humanity. Some of this future judgement is covered in Revelation chapters 20, 21 and 22 and I explain these figurative book of Revelation bible chapters in the last two chapters of my biblical teaching book, "Our Loving Savior Jesus Christ":
    https://christianreconciliation.net/book-oursaviorjesuschrist.html

  3. God made up for any worldly injustice to his Son Jesus Christ by raising Him from the dead, while letting Jesus walk around on earth for a number of days. In addition, allowing Jesus Christ to have a new spiritual body so that He can do the spiritual equivalent of flying to heaven to be on the right side of God His Father. I do NOT think their will be any argument between God and Jesus Christ because God has now delegated ALL authority under Jesus Christ His Son for the salvation of humanity. And in the future death will be destroyed with all under Jesus Christ the Son of God. Then Jesus Christ will turn this authority back to God His Father so that God can or may be all in all. This is read in I Corinthians 15:20-28.

An interpreter is responsible for facilitating communication between different language speakers by translating information from one language to another for easy comprehension.

That is the basics of this subject. For example for the New Testament, we need the help of people who know or knew the original language of at least most of the New Testament, the Koine Greek language to even have the New Testament in today's English language.

On the subject of the "bible interprets itself" spoken by any person, they were talking about a different subject than a language that they did not understand.

  5. Jesus Christ in his earthly life was very helpful to common everyday people. Especially if they did not want to religiously rule over people like the Pharisees and Sadducees often wanted to do in the first century. Hopefully, Christians today have the mindset of Jesus Christ and want to help and be loving to people instead of wanting to religiously rule over people.  Jesus Christ can change humanity to being loving and service oriented. As an example, when Jesus Christ appeared to perhaps the most hateful Pharisee, Saul later called Paul, Jesus got him to make a major change from a hateful Pharisee to the most informative teacher of the New Testament.

WOW, it looks like we even know where our head's are and I even see your head now. Rocky, you just inspired me to email Jonathan Mitchell and this could be primarily marketing. Regarding learning from people I perhaps have learned from hundreds or even thousands of people through a very good biblical study software program that I have on my computers that has many sources of reference.  http://www.biblesoft.com/

Further, from a rationality standpoint, how much review of your book has been subject to review by biblical scholars? I ask because one of Prof Pinker's main points is that none of us on our own necessarily gets close enough to being rational. We rely on a collaborative relationship with other people to identify and help correct our fallacies. That's why academics and scientists must submit their work for peer review before publication in credible journals.

I do not have a special title of religious authority like the Pharisees and Sadducees had in the first century.  Instead, I use a VERY GOOD biblical study software program to help me with my research, with biblical references from many people with a number of different bible versions. My reference sources include the definitions of original Greek words from people who obviously knew the Koine Greek language that most of the New Testament was translated from. Below is a link to a person named Jonathan Mitchell who is in the state of Arizona. I think you know where that state is without having to massage your head like all of humanity may sometimes need to do. Jonathan has done a New Testament translation from the original Koine Greek language. I communicated with him at a Zoom meeting last year and then sent him a draft copy of my first chapter titled, “How the Bible Can Be Studied with Sources of Reference”. This is perhaps the chapter of the subject that I know the least amount because this includes the Koine Greek language. His response by email was the following.

    Quote

Hello Mark, good to hear from you.  I enjoyed meeting you on Zoom, yesterday.

Thank you for sharing your first chapter with me, I enjoyed reading it last night.  This book should really help folks who are desiring truth.  You have made a good presentation.

The following is a link to his web site: https://www.jonathanmitchellnewtestament.com/

I wonder, should Jonathan Mitchell apologize to people today that have religious authority like I do NOT have that includes the title “Reverend”, for giving me a compliment regarding my biblical teaching book? Do you know how many times the word “Reverend” is used in the New Testament from the following versions? King James Version, New King James Version, New International Version, American Standard Version, Douay-Rheims Bible and Young’s Literal Translation. ZERO times! In the chapter titled “Lordship of Jesus Christ Contrasting the Lordship of Imperfect Man”, I explain how the word “Reverend” is used even in the Old Testament.

    Quote

Paul, Peter, John, Timothy, Titus, or any of the other followers and laborers of Christ are ever called lord in the New Testament. They were never given the title Reverend, thus separating them from other believers. In fact, the word reverend is never used in the New Testament in any versions of the bible that are quoted from in this book. The only usage of the word reverend is in Psalms 111:9 from the (KJV) and (ASV). This usage exalts the Lord God. However, this Hebrew word with 328 usages in the Old Testament as represented by Strong’s OT:3372 is mostly used in a negative way and is often translated as fear, feared, afraid or terrible. I wonder, should we fear a person with the title Reverend? Perhaps only if they have a security guard who is big and strong. I could simply tell them to please be peaceful and follow the example of Jesus Christ. I might even tell them to wag more, bark less, while really liking dogs. When I meet dogs, I often want to pet them, as long as they wag their tales and don’t bark.

I wonder since like other denominations, the Way International uses the title Reverend for their leaders. Should we glorify people that have that title? I do NOT think so. I would rather base my Christian views from the bible.

How does your response, copied herein, explain how you know which thoughts are true and which are false? Really, I don't want to come off as condescending, but what it looks like to me is that you've set forth, in a bit of detail, your assumption(s) which may prevent you from opening your imagination to consider anything outside a fundamental biblical perspective. Is that a fair read/interpretation of your response?

I have no ability to read people's mind. Only God can do that. My goal is to be 100% spiritually truthful. I hope I am at least up to 98%. My book is only biblical instead of spreading RELIGIOUS MYTHOLOGY. One of the chapters is "The Mythology of Hell That Contradicts Scriptures". In the future we will have judgement to get every knee to bow down to Jesus Christ.

    Hey Mark,

How do you know? Is that just an assumption? If so, what does it get you to do or not do?

As read in Matthew 4 and Luke 4, Jesus was being tested by the devil and the devil was even allowed to speak to Jesus. Of course Jesus rejected the devil and never followed him. This is to verify and prove the perfection of Jesus Christ. Even when the devil spoke to Him and offered Him much, Jesus rejected the devil. In Genesis chapter 3, Eve the woman accepted words of deception as spoken by the Serpent, who we now call Satan or the devil. Adam the man was also deceived as this deception was passed from Eve onto Adam also. This perhaps figuratively shows a lack of perfection for humanity. The only perfection in humanity was and is Jesus Christ.  Simply in this age of imperfection, the devil with the demons are allowed spiritually to sometimes communicate with humanity with sometimes deception and even wars that often results in death. In the future as worded at the first part of Revelation chapter 20, the devil with the demons will be put in prison for a thousand year period, then no deception for humanity will be allowed and then there will be no wars. After this period of time the devil will again be released from prison and some of humanity again will be deceived to try to make and want more wars. This looks like it will be stopped though, with the near future judgement of humanity as read at the last part of Revelation chapter 20. In the last two chapters of my biblical teaching book, I cover the last scriptures of the book of Revelation that has judgement of humanity.

  10. With the false god of this world with the demons now having some authority in this age of imperfection. The main thing that they try to do is whisper or speak to people and get them to be deceived. The devil even was allowed to speak to Jesus Christ in his earthly life as read in Mathew 4:1-11. Perhaps this was to test Jesus Christ. In Matthew 4:10-11. Jesus finalized this testing with these words.

    Quote

    Matthew 4:10-11

10 Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.'"  11 Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.   (NIV)

Also the serpent who was Satan spoke to Eve with the origin of humanity as worded in Genesis 3:1-19 and was able to deceive her as she admitted in Genesis 3:13. Simply all of humanity in this age of imperfection gets true thoughts and also false thoughts. We simply need to follow and apply the truthful thoughts in our daily lives.

  12. The main thing that the devil with demons, which in my mind I call spiritual ants, tries to do with Christians or followers of Jesus Christ is try to speak to them with the primary purpose of deception. This is seen in scriptures from the bible. This is first read in Genesis chapter 3 with the devil figuratively called a serpent.

    Quote

    Genesis 3:1-7

3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?"  2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.'"  4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."  6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.  (NIV)

The devil, that I figuratively call the chief spiritual ant, even tried to speak to Jesus Christ at the start of His ministry to even try to deceive Him.  This is read in Matthew, Mark and Luke from this informative and scriptural web site.

    https://www.biblestudytools.com/bible-stories/temptation-of-jesus-bible-story.html

Yes, this is not a perfect age with the devil and demons not yet put in prison, which is where they belong. The start of this is the thousand year period as read in Revelation chapter 20. I cover this with detail in chapter 15 of my biblical teaching book. Our Loving Savior Jesus Christ

Way Ministry was a mixture of good and bad. It and the people were not all good or bad. Christ in each believer is true, according to both scripture and MY EXPERIENCES.

A very good example of that no human is perfect, especially regarding his actions in his worldly life with the devil being the God of this world with sometimes deception for humanity. Only Jesus Christ is the perfect Son of man. And He was and is the only perfect man in his earthly life. Hopefully we can at least improve in our spiritual knowledge and actions through God, his Son Jesus Christ who has given his followers the Holy Spirit as a spiritual connection with God and Jesus Christ as a gift.

emphasizes the contribution of ALL believers with differing gifts, ministries, abilities, and focuses on unitya team effort

What I am agreeing with you is with the above statement. Regarding the 1 Corinthians 12:11 having a capital letter at the end of this verse. Many bible versions do not use a capital for "he". For example, the New International Version.

    Quote

11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines. (NIV)

But at least one newer version does translate this verse with a capital letter for "He". The New King Version:

    Quote

11 But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.  (NKJV)

It is both. At the start God through Jesus Christ inspires and teaches his followers, while distributing to them through the Holy Spirit. Then followers of Christ determine what they will do in their earthly ministry. We are not puppets on a string. That is the devil who wants to do that often through deception.

…it is presumptuous to think we need anyone teach us about the manifestations…there is no precedence for that anywhere in the Bible…I also think it’s kind of egotistical to assume we each have all nine – when      I Corinthians 12:12 and following    emphasizes the contribution of ALL believers with differing gifts, ministries, abilities, and focuses on unity – a team effort.

In the biblical teaching book written by Mark Sanguinetti. One of the 16 chapters covers 1 Corinthians chapter 12. Here is the section of this chapter that is in harmony with your above quote.

    Quote

Furthermore, every believer in Christ receives the same fullness of and the same spiritual ability to manifest all that is available. Even the gentiles, who were thought negatively in Old Testament times, receive this fullness in Christ.

    Colossians 1:27

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:  (KJV)

From previously quoted verses we can see that Christians have all that God has provided via the Holy Spirit, and therefore have the potential to operate all just as Christ did, both in their individual lives and for the common good of the body of believers. However, we still see one manifestation given to one disciple and another manifestation given to another. The answer to this seeming contradiction lies in the context of 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. From this we see the greatest example in the entire New Testament for the function and harmony of the church. In fact, it even calls the church a figurative human body with Christ as the head. Could it be that God would have some believers do some things and other believers do other things as a way of bringing diversity and unity to the body of Christ? Look at it this way. What if you went to a church where only one central figure or person spoke and did everything from the teaching, to the leading of songs, to prayer, and everything else in between? In this church only one person publically was allowed to exhibit any godly spiritual things.

In contrast, what if you went to a different church where a number of mature seasoned believers contributed to the church content? Some people prayed, others spoke in tongues with interpretation, another ministered and prayed for healing for a person that had cancer and was recovering after medical help, and still others taught God’s Word from bible verses. Furthermore, all this was done “decently and in order” (KJV, 1 Corinthians 14:40) as the scriptures require. Let’s say that you are one of the mature believers with a spiritual gift to share. Perhaps you really love to bring forth prophetic words of exhortation and comfort to the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 14:3-4) and you are able and called on to do this. Which church would you rather go to? This answer is easy for me. I might go to the one minister church for a while. I might even enjoy the teaching if the minister was well read, scripturally factual and good in presentation. Eventually I could get bored through sitting in this church with nothing to actively do, but twiddle my thumbs, leaf through the pages of a bible and look at the walls and ceiling. After all, I can do these same things in my home, can I not? I have a gift to share with my fellow brothers and sisters in the Lord and if you are a mature disciple of Christ who loves God’s people, I bet you do too.

All believers can contribute gifts, ministries, and functions in the body of Christ and this is through the operation of the Holy Spirit given to followers of Christ. One reason that some followers of Christ may function more in comparison to others is that some followers of Christ may have more faith and desire with one or a few spiritual things of service compared to other things of service. The main reason, according to 1 Corinthians 12:18, is that God has arranged the body of Christ as it has pleased him with the contributions of many people. Also, there are a variety of different things needed in the body of Christ, as well as needed unity in the church. The needed things include spiritual gifts that originate from God, ministries of service, and working operations of activity as read in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6. The followers of Christ should be able to work in harmony, while humbly knowing that no one has all knowledge. Only Jesus Christ is the head of his body or church at least spiritually. Furthermore, all church members are important and God wants all to contribute to the body of Christ and not just a select few.

Continuing with 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, more is stated concerning one Spirit.
12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. 13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized (baptizo) into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (KJV)

Well, cutting to the chase here, this presents a huge dilemma. Either we were following a man who was chock full of "devil spirits" and we couldn't even recognize it or the whole devil spirit thing was a bunch of bovine excrement. Now, If we couldn't trust him to get this stuff right, how can we trust that anything at all he taught us was right? Hence, the dilemma.

Overall I think Victor Wierwille's books are good and above average for biblical teaching books that quote from scriptures. Especially the book "Are the Dead Alive Now?" No one has been perfect in his actions. Only Jesus Christ was the perfect man, while always being loving and serving humanity. Simply some of what Victor did in his life was not good. If he was alive today and we met him, we could simply tell him his faults in a peaceful way. Using figurative words and actions. Before we told him his faults to try to help him improve. We could lift out one of our hands to him and see if he wagged his tail instead of bark or growl. And I really like dogs and cats and often want to pet them. I even have a bumper sticker on the back of my car that says "Wag More Bark Less".

  17. I did meet Craig Martindale once at the rock of ages in New Knoxville, Ohio. This after I finished as a WOW ambassador in perhaps 1984. I think we were peaceful with each other. But then about 2 or 3 years later I saw the problem with the hierarchy of the leaders of the Way ministry to take the place of the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This hierarchy included Craig Martindale and to let the Way ministry know about this errant problem I wrote a letter with biblical information and mailed it to their office in Ohio. I forget whether or not I got a letter and a response back from them, but perhaps I did. I think they knew it would be very difficult for them to oppose me on this subject of the Lordship of Jesus Christ Contrasting the Lordship of Imperfect Man. Soon after this I wrote the first copy or draft of this biblical teaching article or today one of the chapters of my biblical teaching book.  I sent this first copy in the late 1980s to a number of Way ministry people.

  18. I provide information on this topic or issue in the first chapter of my book titled: How the Bible Can Be Studied with Sources of Reference. This is the beginning of this chapter.

    Quote

I appreciate all versions of the bible and can learn from them, but with the required translations from historical languages with many books, scriptures and words in the bible, 100% perfection is very challenging. The three languages of the original text used for bible versions are Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek. None of the original manuscripts written by the original authors exist today. However useful copies have been made and passed down through the centuries and often the text of different copies agree with each other or are the same. Koine Greek biblical text for the New Testament was passed down to Greek understanding bible scholars from the first, second, third or later centuries for today’s English bible translations.

Translating the original biblical text languages to English has differences for biblical versions. For example, the work involved in the King James Version started in the year 1603 or thereafter and was finally completed for publishing in the year 1611. This was written by an estimate of 47 translators. In contrast, the individual writings of what were seen in the first century, for example the Apostle Paul's church epistles were likely originally written by the authors in Koine Greek. This was a common language that could be understood by the majority of people, in the years written, 50 to 100 AD.

For the translations from this original language to English this involves editing to be factual and accurate or in the case of bible versions to match the original writings. Accuracy of translations is important because the apostle Paul says in 2 Timothy 3:16, "All Scriptures is given by inspiration of God..." (KJV). I appreciate all versions of the bible, but in English today all are not the original wording of the authors primarily because of different languages and editing for original truth and clarity should continue. For example, every time I write a biblical article or teaching after writing the original draft, I see improvement with additional editing. Some of the biblical versions quoted from in the chapters of this book, for example the King James Version, are not worded with 20th century English, but instead are worded with the English of the century that they were translated in. To help these versions increase in present day English clarity, I could add present day English words inside quoted scriptures in parenthesis after the older English words.

For example, from Galatians 5:22-23 22      But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (or patience), gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance (or voluntary self-restraint): against such there is no law. (KJV)

That is possible, but then people that I have talked to that have read some of the book describe it as good or very good or even what can be described as scholarly. These are people that were previously involved with the Way Ministry and people who were never involved with them. A person that I recently spoke with that was never involved with the Way Ministry that has read most of the book, said the book content was "irrefutable". When doing a Google search, the definition of "irrefutable" is "impossible to deny or disprove". This is because when I teach, I always either quote from bible verses or at least refer to them. This is a biblical teaching book that people can learn from, instead of a religiously denominational book.

  20. I wonder if it would be very scary to purchase this book? The reason being that in order to send you this book I would need to know your mailing address and even your name. I hope this would not be scary for GoDaddy forum people and you at least know my name. Below is a link where this book can be purchased online for only $21.14 that includes the cost of USPS media mail shipping. This biblical teaching book that is solely based on scriptures from the bible, took hours and even years to write with much editing and is 16 chapters and about 232 pages. It even has a scripture index at the end of this book showing all the quoted or referred to verses for this book.

  22. I have not read this entire forum because I am super busy, but what I have read compares the leadership of the Way International to some of the 1st century people. Simply often not the followers of Jesus Christ, but instead the 1st century Pharisees or at least some similarities to their mindset of wanting to religiously rule.  Not as bad as the 1st century Pharisees who sometimes murdered followers of Jesus Christ or at least worked with the Roman Empire to have followers of Christ murdered with no crime for them. Obviously because they got away with murder by working with the Roman Empire, they will be judged at the 2nd resurrection of the unjust and could qualify as political or religious biblical beasts. We all make mistakes in our lives and when someone who claims to be a follower of Jesus Christ makes a mistake in not following the mindset of Jesus Christ as our loving savior. We can simply let them know their mistake even in person, while hopefully doing this in a peaceful way and simply this could or can be done with the leadership of the Way International. In the early 1980s when I met Victor Wierwille in person at an event I did this. I knew the problem with the hierarchy structure with leaders esteemed highly compared to other followers of Jesus Christ. I walked up to him and told him that you look familiar, but I can not remember your name, but it sounds something like, "Wear Something". Perhaps I was inspired by God because of his problem with having sex with multiple ladies because he was highly esteemed and could get away with that, while others received more criticism. Victor Wierwille answered and said his name was "Werewolf" and we laughed. He was with his best friend and we all laughed.  Then I apologized to Victor for not calling him the animal "werewolf" and we laughed again.
