I started TWI in Feb 1970 in Mill Valley California. Hippies made good christians. The love of God was manifested. I had real brothers and sisters in Christ and saw real miracles. The hand of God moved.

When my wife's mother died the Way corps in our area was very good and very bad. The worst was the in residence corps person we were sponsoring at the time. So hardhearted and mean about our loss in terms of comfort and sympathy. In seemed like her in residence training hardened her too much.Perhaps when her mother passed on she got the care she needed but she not have needed much. God heals the heart not the way. The Way is a dangerous cult. If you are in ....get out now.

Just graduated from college. Went WOW. Applied to grad school. Got accepted and made a professional career thanks to and in spite of TWI influences. It has been an interesting 30 years. Copyrighted songbooks were the road to major song singing boredom. Over these years since leaving TWI I have been surprised how many christian songs I have heard which TWI used that were not in the songbook, performed and never mentioned where they came from. I had to assume that some wayer wrote them. for example Noah and the Ark done by C.R.

Wow I noticed notes in my bible today from a teaching Jim Doop did Easter in Mill Valley, probably 1972.
