Well Oakspear, none of the book religions have ever thought it wrong to kill people in the name of God and still don't. Some of us have woken up from the TWI elitism of natural man being no better than an animal in only that he is body and soul (no spirit) and no better than an animal ----Advanced Class 1979 and don't forget all the dead corpse stuff walking around, and statements like "You can't offend a corpse." in regards to witnessing to them. Makes people much more easier to kill off and get rid of when they don't fit into the agenda as they are only as innocent as copperheads. So it seems that the excuse that people are nothing but a bunch of devil baal worshipping idiots is kinda lost there as many treated their own offspring the same way; it just seems to matter what GOD's name was used to justify it that seems to make it right or wrong. It seems that the book religions have always had a 'fit for life' method of unnatural selecton to see who got to live on. Governments have adapted it as well and carry it on in genocide, pure blood bull****. Last night on the news, NBC got into a town to interview a relative of the most wanted terrorist, and when questioned about how his borther/cousin (whatever) could cut off the heads of innocent men, his reply was "His religion told him to do so." Duh. And so does the OT tell people to do it. At least this guy was honest about what he believes his religion to say. And this guy is related to the guy who stood behind that bounded 26 year old KID and hacked his head off, seeing him as the enemy, no innocent than anyone has seen any religious enemy and probably compared him to the spawn of the great satan usa in order to justify his murder of a young man. His God orders him to murder innocents in the name of spiritual purity and obedience. The OT God ordered the same thing for the same reasons. Again when it's the wrong God it is wrong; when it's the God of a person, there is always a good reasoning behind it or a 'deeper insight.' Gotta wonder about religions that need the sword and stake to make converts.

I was going to splurge and by myself a whole new puter but my kitchen needs more cabinets and we're getting a new floor put in, replacing the one we put in a couple of years ago; I am thinking of getting the stone look motiff but can't figure out what color to paint it to match...hmmmm maybe a muted green? Then I was thinking of stenciling a green vine border but then perhaps if the walls are green...hmmmm decisions. Yes, I know. Hi Igotout, I was using Norton 2004 with windows 98. It said I was supposedly able to run it with 98 but that wasn't the case, what you said was correct about it not running correctly. It wouldn't even update itself. I am now using what RoadRunner was offering its customers. It seems much more compatible with my puter. Gosh, it was a joke and a play on words!!! Besides, when I hear the word 'ferry' I think automatically of 'faery' which is the fae folk that one should never mess with as the majority of them don't like humans. I had used Norton anti virus for one year and their anti virus and firewall for another year and purchased an upgrade for yet another year. Once I did, functions and programs began to not work. First it was scandisk and defrag and I did everything, including starting in safe mode and using DOS to make it run with no luck. Then instant messaging programs quit working and uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work cause of error messages. As time passed, favorite games from pogo wouldn't work, and the computer got slower and slower and slower. Then I couldn't enter my favorite chatroom because it would cause an interal error and browser would close. Applets wouldn't open and I thought I was sunk. I decided to remove the antivirus program as it would not update its definitions and I tried over and over again. Simple? Heck no and I would suggest getting all the information needed to remove it as going to add/remove programs through my computer into a state of insanity. I weathered through that and now installed a different firewall that my cable provider offered and scan disk works and defrag and everything else that didn't work does now. I only post this in case anyone else has had problems since installing certain anti virus soft ware and to show what a problem it can be in trying to remove it. Believers demises weren't prayed for necessarily but rather prophezied and as Exie pointed out on the other thread...why do we think this place is called Greasespot Cafe rather than Trippedout Cafe or Possessed Person Ville? For truly ridiculous false accusations that did more harm than good was saying we didn't celebrate Easter, bypassing the fact the TWI and us believed in the resurrection or that we celebrated VP's birthday.... ~sighs~ only because of the destruction of people's lives, their hope and trust do I post the following. I have already posted on this thread that I was told by top leadership that I would die, the adversary would kill me if I left the field..field being a committment to TWI in one of their outreach programs...and this was in 1981....no one was sick, no one was out of touch, it was reported to other upper high eschalion... Now, I know I mattered very little while in TWI. I did not have a big family in TWI, so therefore I was alone and had no one in corps that I was related to, no one married into a long standing TWI family or in the structure of said organization, I was not financially set to be of any consequence to anyone and was treated as such. I can name names of who knew of my promised demise. I can tell you that in 1981 how I cried or lamented into the phone to top leadership at HQ that I didn't want to die...and I believe I already did post that... I am not surprised that my post may have meant little,(as I didnt' matter much then either) but then we were all conditioned to hearing it so often before...whether it was alluded to covertly about dying or some other misfortune over coming those that leave...or outright said... In a court of law...I seriously doubt anyone anytime could name the date and time and teaching tape of where VP said you, me, them, would die or be killed or even if someone could, it may be ignored or said that the person's memory is faulty, someone had a bad day or it was miscontrued and the actually hidden meaning escaped them...and maybe that would work in a court of law to allow any organization that overtly and covertly implied and stated the disasterous results that could happen to slide away from legally shouldering any guilt to what we all know, well most of us, what intended phrases meant and what was really being taught behind the scenes to those involved, whether it was direct or implied.... Implied doesn't hold in a court of law...usually, but then we're not in a court of law here, or are we???? Rather we're in a court of people who have had varying degrees of this happening to them or to someone else they knew in TWI or read here in the forums. It is not surprising that an organization that has never fully came clean about anything that they have done, fully and completely clean, would ever own up to instilling fear of death, the adversary getting them and killing them or driving them insane (which was another threat tossed around loosely, if you leave the ministry or the word, you will go insane, I heard it, others have posted to having that thrown at them and if anyone wants teaching tape, I refer to the Advanced Class 1979 that was used after that as well as Vee Pee mocks modern Christianity saying that a large number of people in mental institutions today were Christian and he alluded to these Christians having absolutely NO power over the adversary who possessed them and made them crazy....then he went on to say to the audience that the devil would love nothing better than to put us in a mental institution as well...now does that qualify for edification or exhortation teaching or rather what is implied there?) If one person heard that they would die....or it was implied should have been enough to stop caring loving people in their tracks but it wasn't....and it still isn't, for some. For more implied threats about those that leave the ministry, LCM preached while in a layover in New York that the ONLY reason a TWI believer would leave the ministry is because they got possessed....it was the first time I had heard that then ...that it took devil possession to leave TWI...now, who wanted to risk that? That was fall of 1979 As I pointed out before, VP did, at ROA mention, specifically in 1980 that there was NO armour on a Christian's back. You know what is implied there.... In my own not so professional opinion, TWI like many Protestant religions (that I have seen) have misunderstood and mis-used Jesus words that he spoke to Judas about the rich ointment that was going to be used on Jesus insted of being sold to the poor....namely...the poor you have always with you....as an excuse or rationale to take one's wealth and use it to further whatever church/organization or what have you that you belong to. I personally believe that Jesus was exposing Judas' duplicity (which we knew that Judas didn't care for the poor and was a thief and was using this for an excuse) by pointing out that if he did care for the poor truly, he would have been providing for them, continually, and not just on special occasions, holidays or when super good fortune smacks you between the eyes. And if the poor were being taken care of in the way the OT said (Deut 15:11, especially 7-11) then there would be no problem with Jesus receiving the ointment. TWI took the saying (along with some other denominations, not all, as there are churches who do and have worked with the poor) to being discriminatory agains the poor. Give it to Jesus, give it all to us as opposed to when Jesus said the poor should be receiving their portion all the time and this could go to him then.

Wayfernot, I think it's wonderful what you did. I know the million protestations, 'well they could use it for drugs, booze, whatever' but like you, I figure that it is up to them to decide how to use it. I also quit going to Mexico there when I lived in San Diego because it just broke my heart with all the children begging on the streets and I just didn't have enough money to give to all... I do give regularly....and I'm not saying that to brag but just to say I have stepped outside the lines of if it ain't going to God, it ain't doing anyone any good. I believe when ever and how ever we give, and the heart is right and/or it helps, it goes to God.

I hope my post didn't hurt any of the parents who felt they may have let their child down during their TWI involvement as that was not the purpose of my post. We all got sucked into the bigger picture there, some more than others. Key phrase...never again. I was answering the question of how could this be, or chapter and verse and certainly not everyone knew this when of course the whole atmosphere, whether covert or overt (something so many miss in dealing with TWI doctrines) was anti-child so it was not isolated incidents or by products of misundering but rather the direct result of rotten fruit from rotten doctrine.
