life after death????

Beloved starbird

God loves you my dear friend

Ok lets read your questions

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

what do you think?

do we all go to heaven when we die?

or sleep in death till the resurrection?

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I think or believe right now can not be posted on 1,000,000,000,*.* treads

but your question "do we all go to heaven when we die?"

first I will need to know what you call heaven and which heaven?

hint the bible talks about at least three heavens.

then I will need to know what you call death?

hint there are three kinds of death -

1. soul death or breath death when a person body bllood stops flowing and can no longer breath or think as far as we know

2. body death when a person body has stop growing and completly turn back to dust -- this takes a long time because hair grows after soul death and we have bones over 1,000 years old - so for body death these bones must turn to dust

3. spiritual death the way Adam die that very day in Gen 3

then you asked "or sleep in death till the resurrection?"

ok what is sleep to you and which resurrection?

when is the last trump?

what is the last trump?

has the second coming came yet?

if the second coming has not come how did Christ enter your heart?

is there a third coming?

guess what no matter what church a person goes to I can find holes in their beliefs and the reason we only prophecy in part as did the men of God of Jesus Christ time.

do you speak in tongues?

do you feel in tongues?

do you smell in tongues?

do yo dream in tongues?

do you *.* in tongues?

do you give word of prophecy?

tell me I like to hear something God told you.

do you know answer pray is the word of God.

enough for now which you answer these questions I will answer your questions to my best.

thank you

with love and a holy kiss blowing your way Roy

ok starbird,

define resurrection

in other words,

what do you mean by resurrection

same as life after death (no matter when it happens or happened),

or something different

for instance, there are all these....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resurrection

i'm getting so that i'm scared to say anything here :wink2:

by resurrection i mean....to be resurrected from death to life on earth.

Beloved Starbird

God loves you my dear friend

never be afraid to say what you believe

most here are only trying to get you to think

hell you could be right!

but debate as if you could be wrong than you something new

either your beliefs will changed or they will get clear with more details

to be resurrected from death to life on earth

there is the resurrection of the old testement people who were looking forward to the first coming

I am one of the few who believe it was 27 AD

there is the resurrection of the ones who received the gift of holy spirit in them - Christ in you

I am one of the few who believe it will three days after your fleshly death

there is the resurrection that is the final resurrection because the world is being destroied by fire 2027 AD - note this day could be only my personal resurrection the year of my death

there is the resurrection of the just not saved and the unjust the day of final judgment 3027 AD - if 2027 AD is my personal resurrection only than this date will changed

thank you

life after death????
Isn't that somewhat of an oxymoron?

:spy:

I would think that none of us will know until it happens...or doesn't, and what we think now will have little effect on what will actually happen or not happen then.

do you believe there anything before birth?

Well, yeah, Roy, it's called "the fun part." :biglaugh:

I think it's quite possible.

Life after death, that is.

It's hard for me to believe we didn't exist in some form

prior to our excursion in this realm.

Were we ever actually in a state of nothingness?

Yes, so many think in terms of a limited existance.

Rather then who God really is, and how is this relationship happening.

Wether we are aware of it or not.

And many believe that the bible is about world events,

I don't think so.

I think it's specific and to the point, personal and about each life.

Which makes up a greater Life together.

Though there are advanvements in civilations.

It's only because people are advancing individually and getting along in greater numbers.

Just what does replenish imply?

And why must we die to live?

So resurrection starbird?

You are already in it.

When he died we died-no time limits.

When he rose we rose with him-no time limits.

Spanning all time and all people.

Though each individual is addressed in the bible.

It's not a book about world events, but about you.

I'm up early today for some reason...

And if you haven't figured it out, I work second shift most of the time.

And this is a forum not a chat room so be patient.

i believe when we die we are dead/asleep.

then after armaggedon the dead will be resurrected to life on earth.

"the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of

nothing at all" {eccl.9:5}

"his spirit goes out, he goes back to the ground; in that day his thoughts do perish" {ps.146:4}

"we do not want you to be ignorant concerning those sleeping in death; that you may not sorrow

just as the rest also do who have no hope" {1 thess.4:13}

"do not marval at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs

will hear his {jesus} voice and come out" {john 5:28,29}

"evildoers themselves will be cut off, but those hoping in jehovah are the ones that will

possess the earth....The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find

their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace......The righteous themselves will

possess the earth, and they will reside forever upon it" {psalms 37:9,11,29}

"happy are the mild tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth" {matthew 5:5}

If Leonard Cohen lived back then, he would have written Ecclesiastes.

Or if the writer of Ecclesiastes was living today - he would sound like Leonard Cohen.

Ecclesiastes almost hang-oneself-in-the-shower stuff. So dramatic.

Given the almost existentialist tone with which the writer jabs his quill into his arm,

I would be hesitant to frame any one passage from that work as an integral ingredient in

one's doctrinal diet.

Though I did like the Byrd's "Turn, Turn Turn".

Toss aside those old doctrinal K-Tel records, and "listen" to the lyrics to the whole song, Starbird.

Check out how he's singing it - listen to it so you can really groove to what he's playing.

Hello Roy. :love3:

I must learn to use the quote feature, mustn't I??

Sorry, I was just replying to the original post. When I went back and read my reply, it felt kind of cold, as though I were declaring something you had just said to be "nonsense". Not at all.

About your question now, no, I don't believe there's prelife either. You mean such as the LDS teach? That angels are sent to earth to live as humans?
