oo pffffft

im not sure what to do about that <_< --I didnt have that problem

Its a 17th century Scottish Fiddle tune arranged for acoustic guitar and a few period acoustic instruments with a great (imo) melody and some good counterpoint play...I cant get it out of my head..

Im short on time right now....When I get home from work I may try something else...

excie, I agree we you this a great song.

And, even though I know it's really Janis' song, I can never get past this amazing cover by Joan Baez:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvRK7XY2yB0

When it came out on vinyl in the mid seventies (Diamonds and Rust album) I used to keep putting the needle back and listening to it time after time after time.

I hope it speaks to you in the way it spoke to me.

(That probably made no sense.)

I guess in a way, I kinda wished that I was Jesse and somebody actually cared enough to want me to come home.

I better stop there.

How about some Rory Gallagher?

:eusa_clap:

Its great to hear some Rory! its been way too long for me..

when I first heard him in the very early 70's I was immediately overwhelmed and taken.

I saw him in the early 70's at the old Pauls Mall in Boston (sat about 150) and was blown away as I sat in the first row and he blew the roof off the place

He leapt onto my table for part of his "Messin With The Kid " solo-- :biglaugh:

Messin With The Kid

an amazing and underrated guitar player

"The man who got me back into the blues."

—Eric Clapton

thanks waysider

Don't know where Im Going

Laundromat

There was only one Rory Gallagher

we lost him too early--

Rest In Peace friend

Waysider, your heart to mine. Thank you for incredibly beautiful Joan Baez.

Can never tell you how many times I put the needle back over and over and over again -- now I replay YouTube!

Roberta Flack too, really really nice.

Thank you, Waysider.

ps. Janis reached me on such a level at that time in my life, not just with Jesse.
