cman,

Did you load both the g drive AND the x drive? How's it going with them? I'm a little leary about the AOL x drive because in the past, AOL has always bundled stuff into their programs. I have to admit that both sound way cool.

Sudo,

I loaded both. GSpace works well, as well as GDrive.

But according to the rules of GMail, these things can cause problems if used too much.

The worst is that GMail will close for 24 hours.

Use it sparingly.

Or it seems to detect it being used for spam operations.

XDrive however is designed to be used quite frequently.

And with 5GB's it is quite useful.

The web interface is better then the desktop application.

Because it's quicker to log into.

My only complaint about XDrive is no hyperlinking to share content.

Like a website.

It must be shared via E-Mail Contact.

And it works very well.

After I installed XDrive, I stopped all aol processes through msconfig.

And XDrive still works very well with the web interface.

I would suggest the web interface rather then the desktop application for speed.

And this has been confirmed by other knowledgeable sources.

O yeah...save the website for XDrive as a favorite or bookmark.

I have mine on my desktop and can easily access it within a few seconds.

Aol has improved since it's early days.

It's browser can even compete with the popular ones now.

They seem to have awakened out of the mafia mindset and working with what you have already.

cman,

Re:"After I installed XDrive, I stopped all aol processes through msconfig."

Yeah.. that was the kind of thing I was talking about with AOL programs. And even after zapping them in msconfig, I've found they will put themselves back in if you use an AOL program. Have you noticed that?

It does look like a cool program, though. Have you tried the combining of pics and sounds yet?
