I think it's time to move on...

The name of the song is "(I Know) I'm Losing You," covered by The Temptations, Rod Stewart, and Rare Earth.

Here's a new one:

I love the colorful clothes she wears

And the way the sunlight plays upon her hair

I can kind of hear it, but I'm not getting a title. :(

George

I betcha know it - it's definitely a band you know.

It was a huge hit, stayed on Billboard at the number one spot for quite some time in 1966.

I'll let it sit for a little while and see if anyone else can name it.

Here's the first two lines:

Let me tell you how it will be

Here's one for you, nineteen for me

Apt time for this song....

'cuz I'm THE TAX MAN.....

The Beatles did this one.

(I was humming this one to myself the other day.)

======================

Next song:

"I bought a toothbrush and some toothpaste, a flannel for my face"

I know this song. Not that old. Heard it perhaps hundreds of times. Tempted By The Fruit Of Another?

Did not know who did the song, ~Squeeze~

An recent episode of Mad Men, which is currently taking place in 1966,

showed Roger doing acid (LSD) which reminded me of Ken Kesey and the Merry Pranksters,

and the band that tagged along with them - The Grateful Dead.

The name of the song is "Casey Jones" - classic Dead.

New One:

Out on the road for forty days
