This thread will go down the line pretty fast, and should, but I can't resist telling this one.

I have never played organized football, or at least anyhing more organized than flag and pickup touch. I won't go into the obvious reasons, but of the football I have played, there was only one game I ever played in during which a field goal was so much as attempted.

It was good and won the game.

1977, Emporia, 8th corps versus staff. Staff unfortunately won.

Can anyone guess who kicked that field goal?
