How can an obituary be funny?

All right, normally there's nothing funny about an obituary.

In this particular case, there was.

The second person in the UK to get approved for-and receive- a COVID vaccine just passed away- from a stroke.  Not covid, from heart trouble, which is not unusual at his age and health level.

Here's where it begins to get noticed-  if you saw this mentioned when he was vaccinated, it was because his name is Bill Shakespeare. The second person in the UK to get the vaccine was William Shakespeare.

Now comes the funny part- not that he passed away, but that it was news, and sometimes someone goes a little fast when reading the news on television.  I myself remember hearing that Alfred Hitchcock had just died at age 30, and the reporter closed the story by saying, "again, Alfred Hitchcock is dead at 80". with the last number pronounced slower and louder, as if she was trying to pretend we misheard her.

So, the news about Bill Shakespeare's death......
