I had some music trivia buff friends so sometimes I remember odd things about a band/singer/song/album.....
It's the Crash Test Dummies. I just love their music style. It's great dog-walking music. I just have to be careful about singing out loud while I'm walking....scares the neighbors.

Close enough. It's actually "Silhouettes" by Herman's Hermits (starring Peter Noone). I was really into Herman's Hermits, and this was my favorite song. It wasn't until about 30 years later, though, when I heard a clear recording of the Rays' version, that I actually understood all the words. Until then, I hadn't known that the guy was actually at the wrong house!
I started listening to the radio about the time the Beatles hit it big. In more recent years, I've gotten into 50's rock and roll, especially Dion and Little Richard. Unfortunately, in the past year Houston's "oldies" station has abandoned the 50's, now playing only 60's and 70's songs. (And I'm really getting tired of hearing Wings and Elton John all the time!)

I'm also quite the Parrot Head. When I moved to Florida, I thought I'd be sitting on the beach at a tiki bar singing Jimmy Buffet Songs like, "Why Don't We Get Drunk & Screw" and sipping fruity drinks with little umbrellas in them. Boy was I wrong!! Work gets in the way too much!!
But I do know my Jimmy Buffet songs anyway somehow. ;)-->
