On its flyby of Jupiter, the Cassini space probe took the following photograph:

I blew it up and found something startling. If you look closely, beneath the Great Red Spot, you see this:

Holy Amazing Sea Monkeys, Batman! Beats the "face on Mars" all to heck...

(No joke, that's the actual photograph...)

Zixar -- it this the celestial equivalent of a "drive by shooting"? icon_biggrin.gif:D--> icon_biggrin.gif:D--> icon_biggrin.gif:D-->

Cassini vehicle, eh? Are they based in New York, or Chicago? icon_confused.gif:confused:--> icon_confused.gif:confused:--> If it was a "space probe", this Cassini family is obviously looking to operate in "new" territory.

Interesting looking "face" there. But this is the same area where just a few years back a bunch of meteors hit Jupiter all at once. Those bright circles I think are still the effect of those hits on the surface mixing with the atmosphere.
