Emporia Powerbar Recipe?

Recommended Posts

Here's the actual recipe for the sesame peanutbutter bars:

1/2 cup honey

1/2 cup peanut butter (the natural does a better job)

1 cup non-instant powdered milk

1/2 cup shredded coconut

1 cup sesame seeds

Warm honey and peanutbutter together, add powdered milk, coconut and then sesame seeds. Spread into a 9x9 pan, refrigerate, and cut into squares. Makes a dozen

Thank you , thank you!

Last night, I made my own version:

2 cups raisins, ground in food processor

1 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup milk powder

1/4 cup honey

3/4 cup coconut

I mixed it all together, pressed it into a pan, and the kids are still begging for more of it!

Now I have something new for quick energy for the t-ball crowd; thank you very, very much!
