Since watching Napolean Dynamite I've read about ligers and tigons... mixes between lions and tigers.
In lions, its the males that provide most of the growth hormones to offspring, but in tigers its the females. So, crossing a male lion and female tiger gets you a Liger, and they are usually huge. Crossing a male tiger and a female lion gets you a tigon, and they are usually much smaller than the average lion.
Why people do this? No clue. We have enough "natural" big cats in my opinion.
He got tore up really bad by a tiger that had slept in his bed from a kitten. I do not know about how the cat tried to "protect" him when he fell. carried him to the back room causing a bit of damage. all we can say is maybe.

and if they took out his nails I have heard that makes an animal even more insecure and unpredictable. I wouldnt want this guy to be frightened , did they take out his teeth?

I think we should leave them alone and vice versa.

Well, that's one fat cat that can best my dog.
But I can't say the same for the last fat cat he disposed of.
I don't hate all cats. Lazy house cats are pathetic and worthless. Cougars are just about the coolest.
