Micro Management in the Way

Eagle...Sure, I think the devil spirit scare was prevalent throughout twi...especially after martinfart got into his dwa classes. I cannot recall all the times that some wc punk would make a pronouncement that so and so was possessed and that was the cause of the problem...

...I was never accused of being possessed UNTIL I pointed out from the bible that lcm was wrong about some things...that was the final straw for me.

I love dogs ... but don't have one ... although if I had a good place for one, I would be sure to have a couple ... I have a good friend who has a black Lab/Chesapeake mix ... I get to see him fairly often, so I guess he is my favorite dog du jour.

BTW, one BIG difference between TWI II and the home-based church I now attend is this: when one of the members' dogs was sick, we prayed for him to get better. Try THAT in TWI. They hardly let you pray for the regular people in TWI 2.

Of course we did! We use to pray for the BOD/BOT LCM and all of them!

EAGLE POSTED:

A friend of mine had the flu. He asked for prayer. He got an exorcism instead.

--------------------

I don't know whether to laugh or shake my head about the absurdity of it all -

"I cast out the Spirit of Grippe, in the name of Jesus Christ! Be gone!"

If the flu is a devil spirit, then the flu shot must be a greater debbil spirit - a dimonion perhaps - that will drive away the lesser spirit....

What a bunch of ultra maroons!

HA!

Devil spirits! What a crock...

Oh my God...I laughed so hard I spilled my popcorn...

...a devil spirit made me drop my popcorn...it made me laugh at the former post...

Oh Lord...Oh God...deliver me from the foul laughing popcorn-popping devil spirit, and make me like the other posters.

Wait a minute. Lord, if you make me like the other posters, TWI will surely think I am the devil.

Well, never mind...they think that anyway.

My all time favorite: Animals whose eyes "glow" red are really demons

In fact it is a scientific anomaly you see in photos when you get" red Eye" as well as when you are at a certain angle looking at an animal

"Light when shone from a certain angle gets reflected from the choroid [the layer of the eye behind the retina that contains major blood vessels] and therefore appears red."

Between demon possessed animals and stringing chairs we were having Way too much FUN--NOT!!

There is a typo in my last post!

I got possessed by that evil typing spirit of error running rampant in this thread!

It must have been the Yogi Berra and Boo-Boo toonies I used to watch!

Well, Yogi Bear, but the way Berra spoke, I might as well have been possessed by him.

That foolishness about camera red-eye is simple.

The back of the eye has a reflector in it.

It that's angled TOWARDS the light-source, looking back from that angle

will make the eye appear red.

Humans do the same thing. Want to make the effect happen?

I've done it by accident several times. First, make sure you don't have

a red-eye-reduction camera. That will pulse several flashes before the shot

to reduce red-eye effect.

Second, take a picture in a low-lit area, where people have been for more

than 10 minutes. (That means their eyes are fully adjusted to the light level.)

Their eyes are now adjusted for maximum reflection.

Third, use a lower-light film-800 is fine. (1000 will be TOO bright.)

(I haven't tried it with digital yet-I imagine it works the same.)

Have the people look either INTO the camera, or at a point CLOSE to

the camera. You need them looking within a 15-degree angle to supposedly

get red-eye, but I've managed it with more depending on the person.

Take the picture and develop it.

The REALLY cool trick is getting people with different coloured eyes in the same

shot. I got people with red eyes and golden eyes in the same pic.

By accident.
