It has been very hot and dry here in the southeast. I mulch profusely and so far my tenderlings have not suffered. We have little green tomatoes. The greenbeans, baby lima beans, speckled butterbeans, carrots, bell peppers, yellow crook neck squash, and Jalapeno peppers are holding their own. I have sacrificed most of my flower garden plots to plant food. My herb garden does seem to be suffering somewhat. I don't know why. My cilantro and flat leaf parsley have all but given up the ghost.
