It's a tradition in my house that if it's your birthday and you live here, it's a national holiday. Kids have no chores on their birthday - and you usually get your breakfast served to you in bed if you stay there long enough for someone else to get up and fix it.
Bow jr. had this scrapbook made for me and sent it in the mail to arrive the day before the birthday - reduced me to blubbering, I was so tickled!
Looks like we're rained out of walking through the Kansas City Zoo, but the Mexican restaurant we love is open tomorrow night so we'll eat the official birthday dinner tomorrow night.
