  1. uh...

Is Franklin in the Lakes Region???

If so, then please let me know if you would be blessed to Email my grown kids who were "raised in the word" of twi--if they also agree.

They say the only thing that upset them is how I was treated, but they don't show any desire to grow with God anymore. My youngest was severely traumatised when we were m&A'd by a foul-mouthed paid corpse in Illinois...

  2. Hi,

I grew up in Elmhurst, between LaGrange and Lombard... Twigged some in Rolling Meadows and in Elmhurst in 84. Not my best year...

Mom took her first PFAL in LaGrange around 77 or was it 78... I took PFAL in Oshkosh 1974.

Do yo ustill live in DuPage county???

  3. Okay, Ohio. This is your chance to redeem yourselves.

I was family WOW in Toledo 85. (Not twi's best year---not Ohio's best year, either!) By November we had 7 kids, 3 Moms and 2 single gals. It was all over by Christmas, when I moved my boys to Dayton. Left Dayton fall of 87 for Greenville SC.

So drop me a line and say Howdy! This means you, Fred!

    Love ya!

  4. Aunt Naomi was my friend. She loved to share her poetry with me. I promised to send her some of mine, but never remembered. I remember some instances when she escaped her escorts at the Rock. One of those times she came into a meeting unannounced. It wasn't right how they spoke about her as they "escorted" her back into isolation.

It wasn't right how they isolated her after Walter was "out". She was a dear, dear lady who needed friends, like anyone else, so I applied to work for her. It's a mixed blessing that I was not hired. I wanted so much to learn all about the early days and to help her to feel loved in her last years... I would visit her, Dr., and the other trustees if I could...

  5. Donnie epitomized what twi was and should be. I loved how he made some of Dr's vocalisms his own and how much W&U changed my life. W&U allowed me the privilege of helping God to change many other lives, too. I was blessed and surprised to meet Donnie personally when Greg Madsen and Greg's brother were at the Rock with Donnie. It was like meeitng a celebrity adn finding out he was as real as it gets.

I'd love to read much more about how he taught and led and some of his stories. The 70's was such a sweet time in twi... good memories are hard to come by...Donnie is/was the best!

  6. I've many sweet memories of Grace Bliss, going all the way back to 1974... I have enjoyed reading this thread and enjoyed memory lane this time, becasue she was such a great lady who taught us so much.

My second PFAL ran back-to-back sessions as a make-up for someone. I was there SITing for the new guy and famished. I was so excited during the ten minutes I had between sessions, until they handed dinner to me in a small salad bowl. It was raw veggies, including broccolli. I was stunned at the concept that this tiny meal would be "enough" but it was a blessing and I began traipsing through an entire new world of nutrition and VE Irons... icon_smile.gif:)--> Cathy Geisler(STRZPEK)was the WC3 who handed that bowl to me, later introducing me to Grace at HQ in May of 75.

I still LOVE BROCCOLLI and raw potato, too.

    Grace is missed much!
