  1. Hi to all,

I saw that some people are interested in google's email (gmail). It offers 2GB+ space and POP3 support. As far as I know registration is still only by ivitation.

Well, I have around 100 free invitations, so if anyone wants an account, please email me and I will sent an invitation

  2. Hi to all icon_smile.gif:)--> and sorry if I interrupt the discussion. Forgive my English too, it is not my mother tongue, Greek is.

I just want to share a thought.

Didn't Adam and Eve died? Well the animals (goats/sheeps/lions whatever...) from which God made the skins did. Isn't that substitution? (either rituals and animal sacrifices for the Jews, or Jesus for Christians - Something/Someone dies instead of you)

It was the same day, God did not lie. someone died.

Doesn't this explain Cain's wrong offering?

I always wondered how on earth could poor Cain knew that he needed a blood sacrifice, since the law was given years later, even centuries. (off-topic -excuse me)

As for the initial question of what was the sin, I agree with those that said disobedience.

If I say the expression right:" that's my 2 cents"

  3. I copy from:

    http://www.comeandseeicons.com/inp122.htm

"After St. Paul's martyrdom, Timothy settled in Ephesus with the Apostle John. He became Bishop there when John was exiled to Patmos. During a pagan feast called Katagogium the crowd mercilessly attacked and killed this holy man. He was 93. His relics were later taken to Constantinople and buried next to St. Luke and St. Andrew the First-Called."

    also from:http://home.it.net.au/~jgrapsas/pages/St_Timothy.htm

" Timothy made his way to Ephesus were he was established as bishop of the city. A frenzied mob of resentful pagans whom he denounced stoned him to death. St Timothy died a martyr for Christ on January 22 AD 72."

Generally that's the view held by many theologians and historians, that he died as a martyr (like the rest...)
