I was JUST offered and have accepted a new job at a therapeutic day school as a teacher and case manager, which will later utilize the masters in Mental Health Counseling that I will have soon to clinically work with teens who have emotional issues and are of average to gifted intelligence.

I have long wanted to work with troubled teens in a meaningful way that uses my passion for teaching, combined with my training in mental health counseling...so this is MY DREAM JOB!!!!!!!!

What a great and timely Christmas present from God this is!!!!!

We pull out the champagne tonight!!!!!!

    I'm still floating on air....

    I HAVE MY DREAM JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. Get a program from Roxio called easy CD & DVD burning. You also need a portable cassette player (stereo). You also need a cable for sound.

Hook up the cable to the head phones place on the cassette recorder and to either the in spot on your computer. Roxio will talk you thru everything else.

When burning the CD make sure you are off line and nothing else is running cause it won't work.

Have to be careful about not doing copy write stuff

  3. this guy makes you want to say "Merry Christmas, Santa" on the way out of the office

OMG! If this doesn't remind you of how bad Christmas was when we were in, nothing will:

  4. Hi,

Do you remember me? My name was Ellen McDermitt. I was on the field in San Jose around 1975-76 year. I lived with Billy Fontenot, and Karen LaRosa. I think we worked together for the summer going door to door selling appointments for insulation. my email is ebjornstrom@hotmail.com

    How the heck are you?

  5. At a traffic light when it is the wee hours in the morning, I still stop for the light to turn green. I might go and back up over the pressure plate in the middle of the lane so it will change faster.(It would be my luck that there would be some cop hiding somewhere just ready to bust me if I went thru). As far as all those crazy laws at work, I do the ones I can agree with, but not all of them. I think some of their rules are just so they can see how much power they have over me. Also some of their rules contradict other rules they have, so if something goes wrong, they can blame you for breaking a rule. Go figure.

I follow my rules, the ones I make for me. I hate to many needless rules that just shows that people have power over me. I don't always wear my seat belt.
