1. I came in after Evan Will*ams and his familyl left. Mark Dono*an and W*yne Clap* were the "bosses" then. Barbara Newbal*, Victor, Eric and his sister, Garrett and his sis. My sister was way young jr. corps. Gosh, it seems like everyone was so desperate to get out then. I started 9th grade there and didn't finish; I was asked to leave. Had a blast playing FC Robinhood....raiding the beer stash in the walk in and dispersing it to my homies!

  2. I have had the experience of being ejected from different groups/organizations where I thought I was safe and even developed relationships with like/opposing minded people. these were not experiences that I recall with fondness at all. To kick someone out of a venue where folks are expected and even encouraged to voice like or differing opinions would be like banishing one to an Island, like perhaps John. Do you expect everyone to co-sign each others b.s. or do we want to be enlightened and broaden our horizons of thought if only for the moment. If the forum decides to banish him you might as well burn him at the stake. Duct stays, if only to advocate the opposition.

  3. Got here a few years back from MI. Got into TWI as a kid with Mom and step-dad in the Toledo area. Wondering if anyone knows of Bill Standifer(sp) and his wherabouts. Remember him from my childhood. Used to drive an old volvo wagon, actually i think it was an orange vw wagon. CRS

  4. I'd say you want to talk about it. Geeze you wrote a book. No need to stop in daily when you post in one stop what most post in a year. Talking about seeking validation. Jesus will give you that as well as forgiveness. You're not so deep, Plato! Love.

  5. Huh?

    God doesn't grant ANYBODY repentance.

People CHOOSE to repent on their own, - - period.

Point of universally accepted logic that any and ALL schools of thought on the planet ahdere to....

If the premise of your argument is BS, the entire argement cannot stand.

That is precisely the mental gymnastics I'm speaking of.

You must believe many things that just are not true to come to the conclusion that Jesus eternally existed w/God as a part of the triune Godhead.

Further perusal of John (chapter 17 to be exact) finds Jesus PRAYING to God that we be one with him in the SAME manner that HE is one with God.

    Mathematical truth states that if:

    (A) Jesus = God ©

    and

    (B) We = Jesus (A)

    then

    (B) We = © GOD also.

    Therefore...

If Jesus is God then so are WE.

Read the whole chapter... "...Why don't they EVER read the next verse!???!"

    :evildenk:

    I don't either.

In fact I go to a big, huge church where they believe and teach trinitarian concepts. I think the argument over the subject is worse in God's eyes that who's wrong about it.

but isn't that what wayfers were programmed to do? Scorn the religious establishment. I certainly walked away from it with that idea only to find out that having been affiliated with twi I was the one being scorned. Huh? How bout One God and Jesus Christ clearly the Son of God, lover of my soul, my redeemer and Saviour? Can we end the eternal rhetoric now?

I apologize if this has already been discussed -- if it has, perhaps someone can point me in the right direction.

I didn't believe he was before the way. . . but was I brainwashed beyond repair? Am I going to hell because I believe him to be God's son and not God in the flesh?

This is starting to keep me awake at night.

I don't want to be possessed by a trinitarian devil spirit. . .

We humans can see the Word anyway we choose to. How can I know for sure?

    Someone please help.

are you saved? I wouldn't worry about being possessed.

  6. I was in Michigan forever! That is until 1986 when mom and step-dad got the big D and Mom took me and little sis to Rome City for F12 or 13. can't remember which one. Donovan kicked me out in spring of 87. That's when I officially left/was ostracized. Praise God for that one; even if it did further distort my understanding of family relations. I got through it all, some twenty years later.

    F12

    Hi LH.

Was in residence with you for a year. Was F11. Our son who's about your age was Samuel Greenwell. Ring a bell?

Send me a personal if you want to know more.

Jardinero

I was there for less than a year before Mark Donovan told my mom it was me or all of us! Mom chose me so I loaded up the truck and I moved to Beverly...not so much. I was in high school while I was there in 86 and booted in spring 87. Can't remember if I was 12 or 13 it was such a short lived tenure. I remember some folks...Barbara Newball, Garrett ??

  7. Any of you folks out there? Seems that previous attempts were archived, so I'm not sure if this is the best way to go about it, but here goes...Hello?

Tonto did the dirty work for free...

I was there in 87 and asked to leave in spring of 88. I had lots of good times there disrupting the "flow". It would later prove to be devastating to my decision making process but I am now "recovered" and doing well.

    -Evan

p.s.I was in the 10th grade there. The "outsider" students at East Noble High were brutal to us wayfer kids
