1. The number 7 supposedly represents spiritual perfection in the bible. Perfect indeed, I am proof that this was a fallacy. It was fun, even though our Corps produced the likes of XX and XX.

I scanned our 7th Corps picture in Gunnison. If anyone wants a copy...just email me.

You will note that me and David Petit are missing from the picture. We had the privilege of being on the clean up crew for that supper meal. You guys left lots of pitchers of cheap beer on your tables.

David & I were enjoying ourselves cleaning up those pitchers of beer. We were in no condition to have our photo taken on some mountain.

So we just said to hell with it and sat there with our pitchers. I don't remember too much after that.

John Richeson
Tampa, FL
Been here since we graduated in 1979.
(I don't miss the snow...had enough of it in Emporia and HQ.)

PS - I became a window washer when I grew up.

[This message was edited by igotout on March 16, 2003 at 22:35.]

  2. RG Along the lines of reward.. I recommend reading a book by John Bevere called, Driven by Eternity. It really motivated me to walk more and more in holiness, live for Jesus and move forward with my life.

    :offtopic:

Nametag: I threw mine out with my corps notes, way books and anything else that was poisonous from TWI. I didnt want to be like Achan. I even burned my corps grad certificate, my fake Bachelor of Theology degree and my clergy certificate. I won't tell what I did with my clergy seal unless someone asks.

Somebody sounds bitter!!!Like Don Henley sings about " Get over It!" Jerry Mac p/s What did you do with your clergy seal?Nevermind, i just read page one, I think you're full of #@^%

  3. A 9th Corps fellow who is a friend of mine has a neat new website ... hope he doesn't mind that I'm telling you all its URL ... www.mackaypainting.com ... visit it and you can see what Jeff Mackay has been up to since he and his wife, Lisa (WC12) and family moved to North Carolina in the early 1990s.

He likes hearing from old Corps buddies, so I am reasonably sure I will not be pounded into oblivion for sharing this info with you all.

TF
