3. I took the Blessings of liberty class...I was there at the roa when Hayes was the "big thing"...

...and yeah, he was duped like the rest of us. It seems that whoever came in contact with Wierwille had their careers "detoured", if not destroyed. Hayes was no exception.

Maybe someone should E-mail him and invite him to post here? It might be interesting to hear his story.

great idea email is from o6 but he and linda have been invited

    happy trails

  7. and our thanks as well for your continuing honisty. but most of all thanks for hanging in there and letting a lot of inisonet people come up to speed with the reality of the situation and the efect it was having on there lives. we were working nine believers in the city (san Francisco) developing a live work space concept , when the dang hit the fan and to make a very long story short your conversations with Phil Sebastion and your ministering to our needs saved a lot of lives, through him, hope you never think for a minuite you let anybody down. specificaly you kept three "believers" who hadent a clue what was going on, from being prosicuted for murder by the Alimaida DA because of the ministry. You got a lot of people out safe the bigest examle of guts and heart I ever seen

Hang and Rattel old budy will smoke it the kitchen of the BRC during corps night with you anytime

    Happy Trails

He climbed over a fence at Tam Highscool on to the football field where we were doing a ministy music trip (think holly cats and jambers were on) said he heard the music, in 72 or 73 and we meet...lived with us on the houseboat took the class lost his glasses in the bay...He is one of the most wounderfull people I meet in the ministry...and if you ever got the privilidge to hear him sing you thank God. He is someone I would hope to be more like.

    Happy Trails and Thank you

  9. You're welcome Fresh -

I have a ulterior motive for posting this stuff. Since Mike appeared and started up his VP/PFAL threads, many of the discussions on GS have been about VPW's research and TWI-1.

I'm not saying that shouldn't be up for discussion - but a lot of people who are still in today don't know jack about VP, and really don't care. They were told some kind of fairy tale about him, I'm sure. But a lot of the legalism of TWI-2 really wasn't apparent in TWI-1 - and that's what is affecting people who are still in or who have recently gotten out.

I can hear people mumbling "control freak" under their breath as they read this. But my opinion is that more needs to be said about what's gone on in recent years, and what is going on NOW! Like why Donna M. is still living in the log mansion in the woods? Like what are the so-called policy changes regarding debt and mark and avoid which have hurt so many people in recent years? How much of the ABS has been spent on law suits the past few years?

TWI has been very quiet recently. Not much to talk about, not much to tell. In the chat room the other day, it came up that some topics were being re-hashed for the 10th time since Waydale started. But think about it - the title of WW's thread is "May I remind newer lurkers and posters"...

There are new people registering every day. I would venture to say that most of them are either still in - or newly out. Those who have been out for a while have stated a few times that they were wondering what became of TWI and that's why they looked at GS.

I'm glad topics about TWI-1 are continuing. They need to be for those who suffered abuse and humiliation during that period of TWI's history.

For me personally, TWI-2 was far worse - and more in the forefront of my memory because I only left a little over 2 years ago.

I need to reminded that as awful as TWI-1 may have been, TWI-2 continued to be as evil, if not more evil, IMO. I don't want them to be forgotten just because they've quietly slithered back under their rock...

Hope R.

I get by with a little help from my friends...

Really like your style..reminds me of the old days It might be time to have you do the do and get it going again? YOUR THE bEST!

  10. I am not only new to this site but am also very new to computers in general and am only muddling through even now. Such terms as "post","e-mail", & "chat room" are very challenging to me, especially as far as using these things. My net access may be limited to weekly or even less often so I'll give this a try. I am very thankful to be a PFAL grad, and I am thankful for Dr. Wierwille. My perspective is as a person who did not see the darker things that obviously went on perhaps farther inside the workings of the ministry than I ever saw.

A lot of what I learned in the classes has stood the test of time as far as I'm concerned. As far as the hard times go, speculating on what went on back then, for me, seems foolish and dangerous. However,I don't think any situation as it may relate to anyone I know, or get to know can't be dealt with. It just has to be very personal in order to not speak about things I really don't know anything about.

My most recent experiences have been very hard on me, but I do think I've come out of them with a clear conscience. It did cost me a lot though. In many respects my life is broken. But the experiential knowledge I've gained from being on the recieving end of some very bad treatment has me thinking that perhaps I have something to give. I don't seem like "very much" by any objective angle I can think of, but my experiences haven't ruined my love for God's word. And I believe that that's enough for God to work with, even yet.

My observation is a simple one, God's word is painfully honest about his peoples shortcomings, I think that is very easy to read but hard to handle when the faults belong to self, leadership, or anyone that is closer to me than words in a book.

I hope my first ever posting anywhere on anything isn't blatantly offensive to anyone, I'm really just looking for good fellowship.

Thank you ...very proud to be your Brother Hang and rattle you will do very well and are an example to many of us. Happy Trailss mac

  11. Aloha

I never left "the way" it left us... some of the best people I have ever meet were wafers and 8th corps(and a few 6th corps but mosty the first rotation were sacks of, ok ill be nice)...and some of the worst..but a familey tried to help others at least thats where we were at, and we still try and do the same basics. we are 8th corps ,ex staff and yea theres bodies in the yard ,as far as I can tell cause they wernt honest in the first place, so stop blaming others cause your stupid, But all in all a great group of people with tremindious heart. and to you Peg Kelly your the reason Im posting, really blessed me your hanging and rattiling, heard from lorinda?, wynn bailed a while back. Heard stutz bought the farm, but for the most part just doing what we are supposed to be doing.
