I just read a recent blog post. Looks like they have a ministry of their own. Sounds like they became their own splinter group. I don't know how they're paying the bills but maybe the people who attend their fellowship give 10% of their income straight to them. Wouldn't that be something?

I'd assume they are and will always be IN. Oedings are Way Royalty...

I guess the same could have been said of the Moynihans too though...

This is not second hand information... my wife was pulled into it and worked for the Doctor preceding our divorce. Many of the leaders wives used his 'services' and when it was outed... many KEPT seeing him and nothing was put out by leadership to do otherwise. The Doctor had an 'Open Marriage' with his wife. I know four woman absolutely confirmed to have been sleeping with him. I was deeply hurt by this.

I lived in the suburbs of Toledo, Ohio (about a two hour drive from Headquarters) from 1989 to October 2009 before I left for Way D.

I was in Ohio for most of my life, raised by my two parents who joined the way in the 70's. I was a somewhat enthusiastic "believer" until my early 20s and then I dove in - went Way Disciple after I graduated college then moved in with ministers in Syracuse, New York. 

I left everything behind and I was so worried that I wouldn't be okay without "God's protection." But I have to say, my life is improving. I have a master's degree, a great job, a great car, and will soon co-own a home.

None of that would have been possible if I was still giving away 10%+ of my income and afraid of debt. I feel like I have a brighter future than the Way Royalty (as we jokingly called them in college) who were booted recently. 

I have transferrable skills, I can talk like a normal person in society, and I no longer have to hide "my" religious views from others.

Imagine that.

I remember some time in the early 2000's they were giving away multiple copies for free, emptying the stock at the bookstores and distributing them to fellowships.
