  1. This is Dana's wife (Becki Herman King). We live outside of Augusta, Georgia. Dana started driving an 18-wheeler a couple of years ago when construction became too hard on the old bod. He loves driving and is all over the U.S. and Canada. He stops in to see folks from the "past" if they want him to. If you'd like him to visit when he's in your area, you can e-mail me with address, phone, etc. so I can give it to him when he calls me. dbking98@msn.com I'll let him know you were asking about him.

  2. Thanks for all the prayers. He had a sonogram done Thursday and waiting for the results. They said it could be a week or two and praying big-time that it's not that long. He's ancy to go back to work and, of course, we need the income. The person doing the sonogram said she saw no evidence of a heart attack. His doctor said he didn't think the DOT doctor took into consideration his size and height as he doesn't fall into any "normal" category...but cardiologist has to sign off on it and then the DOT has to agree.

  3. Last 30 days have been devistating to me. First my daughter's auto accident, then I lost my job, and now my husband who drives truck is being sent home as they say he's had a mild heart-attack so we're both unemployed at present. He went in for his physical and they told him he'd had a mild heart attack and he can't understand it as he hasn't felt bad and blood pressure and all was fine. But they took his truck and sent him home to see a cardiologist. My family is being hit very hard and any prayers would be greatly appreciated.

  4. Thanks sooo much for all your prayers. This is the first I've been on line to give you an update. Jennifer came home from the hospital after two surgerys on her foot/ankle/leg. I've been in Ohio for the past 17 days with her. Had to take her back twice to the emergency room in Dayton to have it re-cast. She's been in a lot of pain and the road to recovery they say will be slow. It's just all kind of sinking in for her but she's lucky to be alive. She will have three more surgerys in the months to come and they 'say' it will be a year to two before she can walk again. Her next surgery in 3 months is to be one where they will take a piece of her tailbone and place it into her foot/ankle area to have it graft to the bones left in her foot/ankle (they had to remove some). The skin is healing well where the leg bone came out so hopefully no skin graphs. She sees a dentiest next week for the broken, chipped, loose teeth. Her face bent her stearing wheel in half and busted or broke a bunch of teeth (always told her she was hard-headed) but luckily she didnt break any bones in her face. The black eyes are about gone, the nose swelling is down and she's eating baby food and soft food (not hot or cold). She swerved to avoid hitting a racoon on the back roads on her way to work and hit wet grass, hydroplaned 150 feet into an electrical pole, moved it 4 feet and split it in half which after the car started to roll the 'half' landed on the car. She knows ya'll are praying for her too so thanks from her also. I'm headed back to Georgia on Tuesday as I feel comfortable leaving her at this point. Have done a lot to help her be self-sufficient during her lengthy recovery...frig in her room, laptop, tons of drinks and soft foods and a way to get them from point a to point b as she can't put any weight on her right foot for 6 months. Now I have to go home and get back to work to pay for all this. Thanks again! I pray for ya'll too even though I don't always post.

  5. Please pray for my daughter, Jennifer. She was in a bad car accident this morning. She especially needs prayer for the bones in her right leg. They may not be able to save them. She also needs prayer for no infection and no pnemonia. Many thanks.
