Aw Thanks Shellon!!! Maybe that's why "Dr" was such a term of endearment...who couldn't love Dr Suess. Horton Hears a Who is still my very favorite!!! Cause "a person's a person no matter how small". Hats off to DR Suess!!!

I really don't know very much about it, Doug, but did read in a book by Ralph Gower that, "Immediately when a person dies, there was a time of wailing and lamentation. The wail was an announcement to the neighborhood that a death had taken place. The Egyptians had so many dead on the occasion of the First Passover that the wail could be heard through the whole country. The family then gathered for lamentation- a time for a great show of weeping, almost as if those who were still alive wanted to impress the shade of the dead person that they were really sorry. Micah says that it sounded like jackals and owls (Micah 1:8), and Jesus was aware of it when he went to raise Jairus's daughter (Mark 5:38). David's expressions of grief for Absalom were typical. Wealthy families would hire groups of professional mourners who would add to the noise (Jerimiah 9:17-18; Amos5:16). Goats hair cloth garments (sackcloth) were worn so as to cause discomfort; the breast was beaten (Luke 23:48) and clothes were torn to demonstrate how grief stricken people were (2Samuel 3:31)"
Hope this helps.

Oh Vickles Dear,
we are all "normal" until we get to know eachother better : )...wish I could remember where I heard that from!!! But it's true what the others have shared with you. Think we've all been 'there' a time or two.
You are a sweet and wonderful lady...nothing wrong with you at all. I've spent my whole life being a magnet to psycho people : ) One CONSOLATION is that "Opposites Attract" ha ha!!
Just never stop Loving Vickles.
