  1. When I was in AZ there were College WOWs. These were the best fellowships and fun to be at.

The corpse probably cost me about 25k a year now cause of what I didn't get in credentials.

25k times 30 years = 750,000 bucks and I believe this is a conservative estimate. This probably ....es me off more than any other thing about wayville.

So next time your kid wants to drop out of college ask them if they would "rather get a tattoo".

  2. ex wrote "and i didn't know martindale had a sister in the corps. i think i remember her from years ago. she had his face but only she had hair on her head, if i remember correctly"

Hey what is wrong with being bald unless of course your are LCM and bald. Ha ha

  3. But I don't understand that the rest of you folks don't get the greatness of corpse night. I found that if I listen to those tapes now, after meekly drinking a fifth of drambouie, I can see the greatness of the word "A" actually that is about all I can see then ... Thank gawd I took copious notes cuz at the time the slurred words made no more sense than if it was some drunk guy struggling to make a sentence.

Let's see 1.6 mile run to the beer store, 8 Little Kings, 1.6 mile run back, ready for Corpse Night, wasn't it great to be in top physical shape!!!!

    :eusa_clap:

  4. Thanks Alfa

Yeah I guess that cheap Mich beer would have been sitting around forever if not for you and B.

What a trip. You know you are old when you can't remember your best man"s name.

Do you remember him, I always rely on you for my memories. I think we used to call it the "Felographic memory"

Evan, you were too invited you just had never been to the left coast and got lost on your way that's how you got to Loueeezzzeeeannna.

Evan what is it 30 years next year, man and they said it would never last. Ha Ha outlasted the Way.

    Luv you guys.

  5. So Alfa you were at my wedding though uninvited. remember John and Naomi did the thing. What ever happened to them er her.

Ha Ha no not a mid life crisis if it were that I would pack bags and go to freakin Zimbabwe or somewhere with the Evan.

I drive a GMC Canyon so you know all I do is haul bark and go to the dump once in a while but I would like to know the story on them.

    Me

  6. Well folks I was there (6th Corps) I know BFD.

My job was to clean out the damn basement of Irwin Hall. It was a Chemistry Center for the old college.

There were chems down there that would have made Saddam proud. Bottles and bottles of acid and other crap.

We (under direction of staff) just dump them down the drain and threw the other stuff in the trash.

My God the Way would have been indicted today by a grand jury and Jack McCoy would have charged "Depraved Indifference"

But all in all it was fun cause the late night work gave us a chance to pantie raid the girls upstairs.

Yeah we did and they loved it.

  7. What are you trying to do, there are templates out there for most things that you can start with until

    you get good at it.

You really are learning three things.

    1. MySql

    2. PHP

    3. HTML in PHP throw in a little Java too.

Don't forget to set up an index.html file blank file in each folder and make your calls via a config.php file for security. So your logon and password are not in each page the calls the DB.

Tell us about your project and you might get a little shortcut help.

  8. midweek tickets against the Mariners from a ticket agency. Box seat $1495.00 each down to obstructed view standing room at $195.00 each.

Thats just one ticket, bring a date or god forbid a coupla kids, park and allthe extras and ...well...its

    truely obscene.

There is a part of me that wishes that the Red Sox would s u c k for a few years, so all the people who have showed up in the last 4-5 years would leave, things could get somewhat back to normal, and you could walk into the park whenever you felt like it and enjoy a game without mortgaging your future.

Ha Ha you sure hit the nail on the head that is obscene. Only problem Red Sox fans would probably pay that much to see a loser too. I believe that has been going on for most of the century except the past few years. Try being a Mariners fan like us. You will pay to build a stadium that the public voted down (don't ask) and you see really good players losing. Oh yeah and now Ichiro wants like 15 million to sign a contract?? Slap hitter that hits .350 but drives in few runs and doesn't hit for power except when it suits him. AHHHHSOOOO Malinels should win the west this year but theres always the pexky A's.

  9. ahem... actually, I am "the wife"... :)

Well shut my mouth wide open.

Sorry about that, male chauvinist pig that I am.

Should be ashamed as the father of 3 girls to even assume it.

Don't worry he will do fine but you will be a nervous wreak.

Ha ha keep us updated we want stats.

Hits, runs, at bats, put outs, errors etc.

Kristopher has about 2,110 fans as of today. (GS registered users)

We should start a thread. And we want pictures, action shots.

    Lov ya

    Paul

  10. No I was a little kid but my uncle was head grounds keeper and he cried when he saw what they did to the field after the game.

He went to Candlestick and that is how I got to know a lot of the Giants.

One really weird thing was that there was this bar near Rome City that Mantle used to drink at.

Lots of old Corps guys said they saw him there.

    Ha Ha wierd

    Where did you grow up

I grew up in the Bronx.

  11. Your greatest "I was at the game" baseball moment.

Had to be Mickey Mantle Day at Yankee stadium.

Second was the guy a couple of seats next to me caught "The Mick's" 500th home run.

Bleacher seats at Yankee Stadium were actual only .50, it took 25soda pop bottle deposits to get that much.

Third, even though I was a little kid I was at the last game in NY the Giants played before they defected to CA.

    (Player experience)

I beat Juan Marichal at a game of pool.

  12. I grew up 1954 - 1968 in NY 7 blocks from Yankee Stadium. Those were thrilling baseball years. My absolute love of the sport has never waned.

I am an American League fan all the way and am a little sick of the Yanks/Red Sox BS. there are other teams out there. :eusa_clap:

    Go M's

  13. :eusa_clap:

"Yeah Fel.. mean while, in updated weather news , we had another 13 inches of snow Tuesday evening so apparently the teeming millions of soCal will not die of thirst this summer"

Heard ole Arnold the Gov is going to build a dam around Bakersfield and Eddie Murphy is the gate keeper. He said if they don't give him an Oscar he is cutting off the water to So. Cal. except for UCLA during March Madness.

    Go WA Cougs.

Last night the Bruins mugged the Cougs and that was the only way they could win. WA state fans said they were bringing 9mms to the Pac 10 tourney scared those thirsty So Cal peeps will steal their beer.

  14. over 8 inches of snow the day before yesterday at 3000 feet in the Sierra Nevada's MotherLode country. Just thought you all needed to know......:drink::beer::jump: :P :P :D :D :biglaugh: :biglaugh:

Yeah well 2 plus feet in the Cascades, CA sucks wind and you know it.

    :eusa_clap:
