Sogwap51...I'm glad you know how to fold fitted sheets (I learned that from my mom)....but I have known the Lynn family personally for years and every sentence you wrote about them is incorrect. Mr. Lynn worked from age 17 to about 45 at Eli Lilly. Never an officer or on the Board. In an era when "the firm" did take care of its people, meaning, they kept his job when he served in WWII. In the 60s, I think, he was promoted to General Manager of the Lilly Endowment and held that job until his retirement more than 30 years ago. Never an officer or on the Board. There is nothing wrong with having money, but, Vegan, the Lynns were not, in my definition, "very well off" and yes, John went to a private school...because he was not doing well in the public one. Whoopee. Costs then were nothing like there are now anyway, but the other 2 Lynn kids did not go to private schools and I've never seen the Sr Lynns do anything but good for others wth any income Mr. Lynn earned. JL did work for Lilly's during one or maybe two summers in college, but the "never held a job" line is because he went from college directly into the Army directly into the Way (Class, then Corps, then 'leadership'). He then went from 'leadership' in The Way to starting CES..........but, as has been stated over and over here, he lived off the can for many years, then MG put him on salary, but that was short-lived and he has not been on CES' payroll for a few years but instead has built an SAT business from scratch and works it well. I'm sorry you're still so mad at JL and Pat, but I hope you will no longer tell people things that are not true about JL's family. They are some of the sweetest people I have ever met and do not deserve to be dragged into this fight.

Welcome freeone...unfortunately this has been going on for a very long time with CES...just not brought out in the open. Thank God it finally is.

Thomas...I do think it does get into new age and <_< the occult...how would they know the difference. Thank God we have the Bible...to check things out, but I don't think some thought they could or were able to do that...or perhaps disloyal by doing that...questioning God???

In 1998 JAL received more than one personal prophecy about his intimate life from KA. (it's been going on a long time) Right after that there was a CES leadership meeting in which she taught about personal prophecy...and talked about who you should or should not give personal prophecy to...one was to someone that was a very close friend, spouse, child etc. Interesting...this is taught by other ministries using pp as well.

The last step is to treat the person as you would an unbeliever (i.e., kindly, but detached). Hmmm, I wonder if Elizabeth feels that she was treated kindly, but with detachment. Someone I seriously doubt it. Perhaps one should investigate what kindess means to those who lead CES. It's simple...they need to go back to the Bible (not psychology mixed in with the Bible) and study it and practice Eph. 4:32. These "leaders" need to take some time off and study under some loving, kind and good Christian ministers and learn to serve...and perhaps be good Christian regular people for awhile and let God raise them up if He wants to.

Abigail, As you read his letter, think about this. The letter was written by a man who couldn't be honest enough to say he was divorcing his wife because the marriage was a mistake. Or because it simply wasn't working out. Or even because she was a raving b**tch. He had to justify it by couching it in "godliness", via some very destructive and hurtful "prophesies". He couldn't just walk away and leave her, he had to completely demoralize her first. Or at the very least, he supported those who did. In my mind, that makes anything he couches in the name of god questionable. Very good points Abigail!

John Schoenheit knows better if he really knows the Bible like his books and tapes and papers say...How can one so Biblically savvy sit by and allow these things to go on.

I know many say that they (STF leadership) hasn't listened to people. I agree, but I have also seen that people who have seen problems haven't gone about it the right way. They don't hang in there and fight. I know it's hard because they get emotionally beat up. Unfortuantely, it has taken some casualties for the pattern to emerge. Elizabeth was treated wrong and the prophetic words were very wrong and destructive, but I agree with someone earlier who said that she is not exactly innocent either. I am not trying to put more on her than should be but the truth between her and John Lynn probably lies somewhere in the middle. I know that Sue C. saw a lot of problems too. Unfortuantely she was never in a place of power where she could effect some real change. And Sue left (I don't lay anything on her for it) but she wasn't thown out. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST WOMAN THAT THIS HAS HAPPENED TOO...THIS ONE JUST ENDED IN MARRIAGE AND OF COURSE DIVORCE...BOTH PROPHESIED OF. THERE WAS SO MUCH PSYCHOBABBLE ALONG WITH PROPHECY AND BIBLE VERSES FROM THOSE THAT ARE "EXPERTS" IN THE FIELD...HOW COULD YOU NOT BELIEVE THEM??? OR BE COMPLETELY CONFUSED BY THEM. GOD'S PEOPLE ARE NOT INDESPENSIBLE. WHY WOULD ANYONE STICK AROUND TO GET BEAT UP OVER AND OVER. ELIZABETH WAS USED AND ABUSED. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE LEADING OTHERS AND DEFINITELY SHOULD SIT UNDER A PASTOR LIKE CHARLES STANLEY AND LEARN HOW TO LOVE AND MINISTER TO OTHERS. THEY CAN DO THE BIBLICAL RESEARCH...BUT LEARN HOW TO LOVE AND CHERISH GOD'S CHILDREN. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART. IT'S TIME TO CHANGE AND CALL THINGS WHAT THEY ARE...IT DOESN'T TAKE A ROCKET SCIENTIST TO FIGURE THIS OUT.

Tried to confront these things in 1998. Not many listened. Unfortunately, they had to go through their own horrific situations to possibly start to see the deception for themselves. Way back then said the following: Grasers wanted to and would take over the ministry, JAL would be told who to marry, then told to divorce...all through personal prophecy and dreams and suggestions, there would be a big problem with JAL and family because they would be the only ones that would continue to fight for his life. All these things have come to pass. These statements did not come through a dream or a personal prophecy...maybe true prophecy? Thank God for all of you that are taking the time to write and expose and help others...we have all learned so much since these times of involvement...let's use these for good to help those in need and so they can get rescued. You are wonderful...thank God for you!

This woman, Elizabeth, is really slicing it right." This situation is not the first...there has been a string of these...the letter was so right and so eye opening. Many things in her letter should have been written years ago...she just had the guts and love and go sign to do it. This has to come out and will help many others not to get tied up with these kind of ungodly situations. Pray for all involved. For those involved with manipulation and ungodly actions (we can all relate in some way)...(I do think they thought what they were doing was right)...that when they truly see what has been done to many, I pray they will fall on their faces and go to God with every ounce of their being.

These things have been going on for years...this is nothing new...it's just finally reaching this medium...and finally enough people have been hurt and are being heard...They need prayer, but we really need to pray for the victims...there are many. The truth will come out.
