So it's obvious a lot of us feel we came out of this losing something we can't get back. That is a fact no one could dispute. I lost a lot to drugs and alcohol and still fight some demons,"figure of speech"<-----I hope anyway. :lol: This was even before I took the TWI bait, and I'm 53 now. Money is a little tight right now, since my girlfriends daughter hung her self from a tree three months ago. The kids real father was supposed to pay for funeral costs, of course he won't answer his telephone and lives out of state. The SOB didn't in show for the funeral, said he couldn't handle it. Anyway, we all have problems don't we :lol: I will check airline prices from here, maybe they won't be to bad. Jim

George, I'm grateful for the replies, perhaps I should have worded the question a tad bit better, of course where or what we might have been, would be just a guess at best. My involvement was not long compared to a lot of the members on this list, so I now can understand others may think. On the other hand I have a sister that met her husband and worked for years at headquarters, he took what he learned on the job and has been prospering ever since. Rare story I'd say at this time. Will add that my bible is dust covered, and if someone starts preaching to me, I get very irritated. Jim

I have read many threads on the negative aspects of being involved in twi, but have you thought about where and what circumstances you may be in if you hadn't been involved? I'm almost sure East Texas wouldn't be my home and my life as it is. Simply put, I like where life's journey has taken me so far. :) Jim

ex10, You know I had to tow somebodies car too, think it was a BMW, but sure don't remember a stop at your Mom's house. I am interested in the brand name of that bike, never heard of it before we met. It seems it was popular in your part of Tenn. anyway. My car was .........hmmmm.......think ........maybe......'72 Torino, which got totaled. That's how I got the money for the Advanced class, maybe a real fancy tatoo would have been a better choice. LMAO!
