Just watched the original "House On Haunted Hill" with Vincent Price. That was a good one.

Bumping this up for Halloween.

Belle, I'm sorry to hear about your friend.
-
Just found out the blood test and chest x-ray came back clean.

OK, so yesterday I saw the dermatologist and he said that since I've been clean so far I don't have to see him for another year, instead of six months. I'm still waiting for the blood test and x-ray results but I don't expect any surprises. I'm glad that I get to bring this thread up one last time with good news before this place closes.

This was a post I was looking for from Sept. of 2002.
"This morning we got a black and white short haired kitten. He's sleeping while I'm typing this.
Right now we're feeding him "Eukanuba" which is what he got at the pet store.
We haven't decided on a name yet. We're thinking of naming him "Bob" after a friend of ours' who's allergic to cats !"
Bob the Cat is 8 1/2 years old now. No mice have gotten into the house so he chases bats that have gotten in instead. I guess instead of a "mouser" he's a "batter."

Okay, I'm wanting to look over my old posts and it will only go back one year. How do I go back to the beginning of this edition, which I thought was 2002 ? There's some memories I want to print out.

Wow, I'm going to miss this place. I'm going to have to go through my posts and print out some since my life has ended up on these pages at different points. It's been a lot of fun getting to know you people.

How about John Lennon's "Gimme Some Truth"?

I just read that Leslie Nielsen passed away. He will be missed. The funny thing is that even though he's best known for his comedies he started as a serious actor in such classics as "Forbidden Planet."

My new job
in Open
Congrats to you. May this be the start of many wonderful things in your life.

Just watched "The Zombie Diaries". It sucked and was a waste of $5.00. This one's getting dumped in the bin for the library book sale so some good might come of it.
-
So what are your viewing choices for this Halloween?
-
My friends and I have watched "Frankenstein", "Bride Of Frankenstein" and "Son Of Frankenstein." Now we can watch "Young Frankenstein" and they can catch all the references.
-
The TV mom of "Leave It To Beaver", an American Icon.

I have to admit being a little too young for "Leave It To Beaver" but I'll always remember this.
-
"Chiller Theater" and "Creature Features". I remember those well!
-
Soul Searcher, I've got those two. My copy of "Crawling Eye" starts with the title screen of "The Trollenberg Terror", it's European title. I have "Devil's Messenger" on one of those "50 Movie" packs. I hadn't checked it out yet but I'll make a point to bump it to the top of my watch list.
-
It's October, thought I'd bump this up. Tomorrow my friends and I are watching the original "Frankenstein" with Boris Karloff. We plan to go through the whole series, ending with "Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein", throwing "Young Frankenstein" in there as well.
-
Awhile back we did this and this I didn't realize it was four years ago, where has the time gone?
-
So no more tipping the guy at the curb $1 or $2 to check the bags in right there ?
I'll be flying out of O'Hare or Midway.
-
I'm worried. I plan to fly to Florida this fall and it will be my first flight since Nov' of 2000. Anything I should be prepared for ?
-
I thought he was referring to this.
-
Probably you could have put it as "what has helped you have a relationship with God and Christ post TWI. How have you found your way after The Way ?" That would probably get a better response.

Belle, I'll be praying for your friend. I have a friend in our church who's being treated for breast cancer. She went through chemo and it really freaked me to see her looking as pale as my brother in law looked right before he died. She's done with the chemo and is clear but she's just started going through radiation to be totally safe.
I feel the good thing when I bring this topic up is that it's giving people a chance to talk who are dealing with this either themselves or with friends.

This made the rounds this week:
Dear Saints,
God bless you richly in the name of our risen Lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
This morning we received a prayer request for Chris Geer from Barbara,
his daughters, Becca and Abigail and Cathy, Renate and Cara, the staff
at Word Promotions, Ltd. to ask that we and others join them in
praying for Chris.
While presenting the Walking in God's Power advanced class material on
"The Two Kingdoms" he became very seriously ill and has been
hospitalized. He is being cared for at Maine Medical Center in
Portland, Maine.
He asks that that there not be any flowers sent as there are allergy issues.
At 1:00 p.m. today, (PST) the saints of Bayside Fellowship began an
ongoing 24 Hours of Prayer, a consistent, concerted effort on the part
of all involved to seek God’s help for the specific need at hand. You
are invited and encouraged to join in prayer for our brother in that
way as well as in your personal prayer life. As we are spread out and
have differing schedules, the prayer can be ongoing at multiple
locations. I also ask each of the fellowship coordinators to dedicate
the fellowship meeting times this week to a time of prayer together.
Love and regards,
