Why, yes I am, Zixar . Seems to me I have the 'right' to do so. Just as you have the 'right' to make an *** of yourself all over again (I'm sure you won't need my help). I would just hope you do it somewhere else.

This is just like a television or radio station, if you don't like what's being played, you don't HAVE to listen. We have that freedom here in America. I suspect though, you would have one nation under GAWD, and you wouldn't mind being the head spokesperson if you don't think you are already.

Since we've lost so much time, I think we'll have to go back and review.

For those who want to bring Hitler (or any other similar characters) into the conversation, please stay away, this discussion is not for you. The same applies to hair splitting about rights and such. I want this to be about how you feel the questions apply to YOU. That being said, let's begin.

The only problem with aol im is that it's pretty much a closed corporation type deal. The IM names would have to be posted, but it would be by invitation only.

This would eliminate the need for the ignore button for those who never seemed to get the hang of it, but getting new people to post an IM name on an internet board could be a little difficult.

This is the best I can come up with at the moment.

I know this isn't the best solution, but here goes.

Might I suggest everyone get AOL im ? It has a function where you can invite people to chat, and is somewhat better than beseen's version. This avoids the problem of having to see people you don't want to.

A list could be posted on a thread of all the chat

names. For those with security concerns, you could set up a name specifically for 'GSchat'

I'm sorry for those with dinoputers who can't handle AOL IM, but this is the best I could come up with.

I appreciate your efforts, Garth, but I've gotten tired of looking at Vin Diesel for two minutes before being able to get in the room, if at all.

A little while ago, I got a computer program called Musicmatch Jukebox. As long as your turntable is working, it will convert any analog source into an MP3. This means you can also convert tapes into mp3's (even 8 tracks... )

It's been about 4-5 days now that I haven't been able to get into the chatroom. I realize I don't hang around that often anymore, but I like having the option.
