  1. If they are too far under maybe they will declare bankruptcy and have to sell at a loss and you could still end up with it?

Just a thought. But I am sure that there are other great opportunities for you and your hubby out there in the great usa.

  2. WOW, you are in my prayers. It is not fun when you have to depend on others for so much. (been there) (although I did not mind needing my hubbys help in the shower icon_wink.gif;)-->

I hope that you are feeling better every day.

  3. I will be going back to work on Friday. I have not worked the entire month of april and for the most part I do not miss it. icon_smile.gif:)-->

I am feeling much better and I believe that the docs with a lot of help with the big guy in the sky and all of the prayers have figured me out.

I did have the radioactive iodine done aobut 10 days ago and I am feeling pretty darn good right now.

I will be having bloddwork done every few weeks untill they are sure that I am on the right amount of meds. I go back to see the endochronologist in 3 months.

I am going to see the surgeon on may 10th to see about setting up a time to have the surgery done on my nose. (I have needed it for several years and just kept putting it off but I have his my deductible and there is not time like the present) icon_smile.gif:)-->

Thanks ALL of you for the prayers. I know that they were what kept me doing so well.

I will be walking the cancer survivors lap in New Bremen and in Wapakoneta this year. After battling twice there are many people that need to see that it can be done.

Thanks again and I wish that there was more that I could say besides thanks because I feel like thanks is just not enough.

You have all helped me get my life back.

  4. Tell her to follow her instincts and get a second opinion if she does not like what her doc says.

I had several abnormal pap tests and several years of that crap I finally insisted on a hystectomy and immediatly in the recovery room I felt better than I had felt in many years.

I was to 4 doctors before one would listen to me when I said that something was wrong.

Best of luck to her and I hope that all goes well.

  5. My son who is only 20 worked all last summer at camp washington in cincinnatti. They do a lot for the homeless and help others that are in need such as doing construction work and clean-up work of the neighborhoods.

He loved it and would do it again but he needs a job with better financial pay. He is trying so hard not to need our help with college expenses and he is borrowing every penny for college.

I think it would be great for everyone to check out a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen. It would help a person to be more thankful for what they have.

My son saw many people with college degrees that just can not make ends meet that had to resort to the soup kitchen.

It is sad just how bad our economy has become.

  6. I am glad that you are now out of the bad relationship and you are now happy.

Best wishes to you and your man of 10 years and may you have many happy healthy years ahead of you.

Have your sons adjusted to your new man?

I hope so and I hope that they have no scars from your past.

  7. This is a very dear sister to my dads wife. She was only 58 and died of cancer.

She loved kids and taught remedial reading to elementary students in Rockford Oh.

She had 2 grown children and several grandchildren and step-grandchildren.

She was a very special person to my children. She along with my dads wife took my children on several trips.

My hubby & I never had the money to do such things so these are the only trips that my kids were ever able to go on.

She was a very patient loving person and will be very missed by family & friends.

I am not able to go to the viewing or funeral due to my being so radioactive right now.

    Thanks for the prayers.

  8. My sister in law just lost one of her best friends.

The young lady was killed by her ex-husband. She had a restraing order against him and she had someone living with her to help protect her but the bas**rd still got at her and killed her with a hatchet. Their two young boys ages 14 & 12 were in the house along with the ladies 2 year old that she had with her second hubby.

She was only in her 30's.

The man that was trying to protect her was injured while trying to save her. I am sure that it was a bloody scary mess for everyone involved.

This young lady was a dear family friend of my sister in law throughtout both of their lives.

My sister in laws name is Chris and I am sure that she could use your prayers.

    Thanks

  9. Dot, Thank you for thinking of the troops so very much.

My brother was in desert storm and then during this war he was in south korea for 15 months. He was back in the states for about 30-40 days and then shipped to Afghanistan for about 2-3 months. He just got back in the states last week.

We have not been able to talk with him yet. There is a lot of debriefing and counseling going on and his wife lost one of her best friends last week.(see other thread)

God Bless Our Troops!!! May they know that we have not forgotten them.

  10. I lost 3 grandparents in 2 weeks time over 12 years ago and I still miss them dearly.

Try to do something in memory of your loved one that has passed on. It really truly helps you feel like you are doing something positive.

Plant a tree, participate in a charity event something that would remind of the ones that you love.

Take care and know that you are in our prayers.

  11. Ok here goes. I have had my share of "moody" days and feeling sorry for myself and my family. I have been a tad bit angry at times also but there are so many people praying for me I know that it is helping.

I had the radioactive iodine yesterday to kill what little thyroid that I have left. Hopefully it will work and I can soon get my life back to somewhat normal.

I know that I have to watch what I eat from now on. I need to get myself in better"fighting " condition.

I have way too many reasons to keep on living. I am not ready to quit yet. icon_smile.gif:)-->

I am so gratefu for all of the e-mails and prayers from so many of you.

My family has been wonderful. Right now noone is allowed within 3-4 feet of me untill monday.

What I miss the most is kissing my hubby. Man I cann't wait till monday. I am so addicted to him now I hope that I do not drive him too crazy.

I feel pretty darn good. I am tired but that is normal for thyroid issues.

I will try to keep you informed.

  12. You are in my prayers and it sounds like the prayers are working.

Keep working on getting all of the assistance that you can. That is what it is for.

Hang in there and keep in touch that is what we are all here for.

    Take care.

  13. Maybe this clthes thing is her way of feeling like she actually has control of something? Since she does not have much say of where she lives maybe this is just her being able to control something.

It sounds like she is very slick. She has more clothes than I have ever had at one time.

The feces thing is disgusting. Maybe if they had to clean up after themselves that would come to a halt?

Man do you have your hands full. YOU & your family are in my prayers.
