I got an ad from a web site called Driver Agent.Com
a.k.a: spam?
where you can have your computer scanned to see if all your drivers are up to date. Anybody ever heard of them? I'd like to do it but I'm cautious.

DriverAgent.com is a subscription service. Last I knew, $29.95/month.
You do not need to update drivers unless you are having a specific problem. Even then, going directly to the manufacturer's web site will get you the latest driver.
Updating drivers (or your BIOS) only because a new version is available is dangerous and should not be done. You may find yourself with unusable hardware and looking for your Windows install cd.
