uh No. But, perhaps that is because the bible didn't exist when the scriptures were written. The OT existed prior to Jesus' life and death, in scroll form, but it wasn't a household item. Things were mostly passed down orally back then. Some of the males who were willing and able could study scrolls, but they were hardly a majority.
Even today, there are numerous scriptures from Biblical times that never made it into the Bible.
