It really shows how a whole town can become obsessed with a high school team. If you're not a sports fan, you might not care for it because there is a lot of football action in it, the most realistic I've ever seen in a movie. If you've ever been on the sidelines of a high school fottball game you'll know this movie gets it right. No Hollywood sports movie cliches, no happily-ever-after ending, but very true to life.
