I am reading with great interest the churches you find yourselves attending. For 4 years we've been checking out the nondenoms and AOG and we were very disappointed.

For those of who attend fellowships, how did you find out where they were?

That is right; he's not the only one who can write a book. But when I read it I can relate to the practical ways he was treated cause either I was treated that way or I knew others who were.

Maybe the two of them were tired of men. LOL Did Donna ever divorce you know who?

I emailed him and shared my thoughts with him. The book is very informative and funny! I needed to read the humor, one incident is this:
When he was called to speak in tongues and interpret, he said " Oh ___! "Reason I think it's funny is we all probably thought that," no man don't call on me!" at one time or another! LOLOL!

Why is it when I try to reply at some posts, I get a message saying the page is not available? Does it mean the thread is closed?
Jan

Sorry, but I can't but LOL to that one!

I thought John Lynn was one of the more level headed guys, very personable. I met him in Germany after a friend invited me to hear him. I wasn't really following anybody then. Did anyone here ever to to Momentus or get CES tapes?

I just wanted to comment briefly on Mrs. Wierwille's passing. I met her once when I went to the Rock with her daughter Sarah and her husband. Wow that was only 5 days ago.

I go to Calvary chapel, and also to a southern baptist church. I know the fellowship is not what I'm accustomed to, but it's a real need if I'm going to go forward with God. (besides right doctrine and worship of course)

I just finished reading Kurt Kahler's book "The Cult that Snapped".
REally worthwhile reading, answered my unanswered questions. Oh I'd moved on, I just was curious just WHAT happened to show how screwed up everything got.

I think of the times I spent at Rome City and Emporia with fond memories. Just like when I travelled in the army. I had a lot of friends then and fortunately for me, I found a church of God church that in time was an intimate experience as far as the fellowship goes. I was so thankful for that! So there IS life outside the Way International
I'm a newbie here,
Jan
how many of you are attending a regular church?

Wayfer Not, I can identify with the Pentecostal where people encourage the pastor "preach it, come on, etc." I liked that, it showed people were enthusiastic.
