one of those rare times i caught both Luna and Annabelle acting weird at the same time.
-
I watch our dogs sometimes and wonder what they're thinking; Luna looks like she's wishing she was somewhere else.
-
sometimes Annabelle can have such an annoyed look on her face...this is one of those times

Yeah - Tonto and I definitely caused a small stir at the ol' stomping grounds - with her and I taking turns posing in front of the gate. Hark - do I hear klaxxon horns blaring in between PA announcements "Attention, attention! The security level has escalated to code yellow - strangers in close proximity to the spiritual hedge of protection. Release the hounds!"

Funny you should say that Oenophile. How I got the inspiration for this setup was when we got our Halloween decorations out of the attic. I saw the skull and started "brainstorming" all the things I could do with it - PFAL stuff was one of the first things to pop "into my head".

Thanks. T-Bone is a lab/collie/pit bull mix; a real smart dog, has cataracts, and takes ownership of anyone who comes to visit, sort of a security escort/Walmart greeter personality.
That's my Kramer fretless bass. Got tired of the burnt orange factory paint job - tried striping the paint but it was too difficult so I used a propane torch - hence the fire-damaged look. Last year, had a guitar shop install a piezo-bridge pickup [it changes the vibration of the strings into electrical impulses] and now it can produce some warmer and more trebly tones.
This January I bought a yamaha six string bass with active pickups & eq- incredibly range of tone, not only string-wise but electronically too. I think a six string bass is the ideal instrument for the bassist on the road - cuz if one of your strings goes flat - ya got two spares . -
Krys, you've made an appropriate pun there [at least in the literal translation according to usage I've been able to work up out of the original text] - my existence was like a "still life" back in my Corps days - not a whole lot going on . Hence the subtle symbolism with both light switches turned off in the background - not just saying my brain was turned off - but the symbolism being doubled makes it established

After I posted this I pulled out my Way Living in Love book and looked up the quote that I had hand written at the bottom of their letter - and realized the title of the picture is inaccurate - Moody has no record of vpw completing any courses, not just Greek!

I took a gazillion pictures there - what an inspiring place!!!!!

Tonto found this dove made a home in one of her flower pots on the shelf. I original took this picture with my camera set on 8 megapixels. I was so close when I took the picture - that when you zoom into the picture you could see a reflection of me in the bird's eye...I had to size the picture down to post it here...I wish you could see it in the original...

The darn thing about working with lizards is the way you have to deal with them...He'll let me take a picture of him - then I've gotta hand over my camera and let him take a picture of me.
-
I took this on a ferry on the way to British Columbia. The bird was probably about 20 feet away from me.

These guys hang out on our front porch...I opened the door one night - and there he was doing a Spider Man on the storm door.
-
I was taking pictures on a jobsite and noticed this guy buzzing around. Then he lands on a piece of Re-Bar...Tonto loves Dragon Flies - I think it's her favorite bug.
-
Thanks, gang! I kept messing with it in Photo Shop - I was going for a combination bleached-out look [that gosh-awful Texas Sun] and a Post Card.

Oops! Sorry I hadn’t got back to you sooner, LikeanEagle – I don’t look in here much. I use a Sony DSC-F828. A very complicated camera. I have to re-read the owner’s manual every time I want to change a setting. It’s a neat toy – provides me with hours of entertainment – and then when I turn it on – wow – I’ll be lost with it for days!

Great pose...you've got that movie star look...like here I am on the set of The Return of Doctor Bottle Rockets.
-
Great picture! I had to grab this one with SnagIt...
-
Great picture, Garth! It looks like the kitten on the right is saying to the one on the left "I'm his favorite."
-
I'd get a patent on that Frankfurter Rake if you haven't already. Great pictures all - thanks for sharing!!!

Thanks Chatty. I took a picture of the boat docks in Everett, Washington [I think] - then played around with special effects in Microsoft Digital Image...It reminds me of those velvet paintings.
