  1. Every Year I went to the Rock, I stayed in tent city. Stupid me, when I left my tent, if it was nice, I opened it up to keep it cool, then went on my way to some teaching that would last forever. And of course, it would start to rain. Not a nice drizzle, but pour! After the teaching, I would go back to my tent expecting everything to be flooded. But while I was in the teaching, someone went through tent city and closed all the flaps on the tents that were opened.

I really appreciated the people who did that. They saved my belongings many times. If there is anyone on here who did that or knows someone who did, thank you so very much.

  2. Thanks for sharing this Roy. I've had JW's come to my door, and tell me what they believe, but I've never heard the history before. I'm glad there's a warning out there.

If I had any talent, or even just knew what I was doing, I'd make a video telling people about TWI.

  3. My questions to you are in bold.

Bi-polar and all depression patients have 2 things in common, low selfesteme and unworthyness.

Who taught you this? Why do you think this is true?

also people use illness like bipolar as a copout. Have you ever experienced being with someone while they are having a manic episode? Have you ever sat with someone while they are depressed? How are they able to "cop out"?As a cert life coach the stats i recieve is that there are 3 million people with bi-polar disorder in the US. When I read the local paper or talk with all the people that claim to have it, they all live in my town.

It's become the new virus. everybodies getting it. Or maybe since there is no longer a great stigma attached to mental illness like there used to be, more people are seeking professional help and treatment. What's wrong with that?

    snow

Well, its been snowing here all day. It would snow heavy, then lighten up, then snow heavy again. During the breaks, the snow plows would come out, then the salt trucks. But that wind! It about blew my Saturn into outer space! I think we're getting more than the weathermen thought, but its not nearly as bad as what some of you are getting.

    snow

Last week we had the below freezing cold. Then the weekend was gorgeous with temps in the 20's, and today we had snow! It wasn't too bad though. Here its supposed to snow for 3 days, but we're only suppose to get 4 inches in all. I think the big storm Chatty's talking about is going to pass us by.

I saw a snow removal company clearing out a drug store parking lot today. One of the guys was on a snowmobile with a snowplow on the front. It looked like more fun than work!

  4. Sometimes the benefits are hard to see.......

Once someone posted about a man, how wonderful he was, and wondered if he was still with TWI. This man was someone who treated me unkindly.

Then someone else posted that he wasn't with TWI, and he was so smart to leave when he did, and so spiritual. And I wondered what was wrong with me, why couldn't I forgive him, and maybe it was just me, I was such a bad person, and that is why he was mean to me and no one else.

Then someone posted are we talking about the same man? That guy was a jerk, and did horrible things to people. And I didn't feel alone any more. I'm very glad the poster said what he did.

  5. What American accent do you have?
    Your Result: The Inland North

You may think you speak "Standard English straight out of the dictionary" but when you step away from the Great Lakes you get asked annoying questions like "Are you from Wisconsin?" or "Are you from Chicago?" Chances are you call carbonated drinks "pop."

    The Northeast

    Philadelphia

    The Midland

    The South

    Boston

    The West

    North Central

What American accent do you have?

This is so strange, because I'm from southside Indy, so I thought I would have the same results as DMiller, but I've lived in Milwaukee for so long, I guess I sound like a Milwaukean now.

There is nothing wrong with having money, but, Vegan, the Lynns were not, in my definition, "very well off" and yes, John went to a private school...because he was not doing well in the public one. Whoopee.

Well, our definitions of 'very well off' differ greatly. When I knew the Lynns, they were living in an elite neighborhood, on the richest side of Indianapolis. And JAL did not go to just any private school, he went to what is now Park Tutor, which was, back then, a VERY prestigious school.

But how is saying JAL came from money dragging his parents into a fight?

  8. John Lynn's father was with Lilly Endowment which is separate from Eli Lilly and Company. It was founded by members of the Lilly family, too, and gets money from the profits of the drug company, the stock it holds in Eli Lilly.

His father retired, and no longer sits on the board or is an officer. A Lilly still sits on the board, though.

John did grow up very well off though, and went to the best private school Indianapolis had to offer.

  9. Although no one is able to take a camera and make a movie about what actually happens in a cell, yet, my daughter, the biology major, said that what this video shows could be what actually occurs. I found it amazing the first time I saw it. I never knew one cell held so much. I like to watch it when I'm feeling down about myself, or the world around me. It reminds me just how awesome we all are. And how important it is to drink water! :) Enjoy!

  10. Love and peace to you Jonny.

I have a lot of respect for a man who cares for his family, and in all your posts, it was so easy to see how much you care for yours.

And how cool is it that your think of us as family!

I hope you stop back at times.
